I seriously doubt female boxers are anywhere close to being the best female athletes. Boxing is not a very popular women’s sport and the competition is abysmal. In Germany there was a female Box champion in the 90s, Regina Halmich who had several title defenses against women who did boxing recreationally and were in their first or second professional fight when they already got a title shot against Halmich. The fact that there are several different weight classes and multiple different championship belts in each, makes it questionable in general how legit the title “world champion” really is (same as in men’s boxing).Laila Ali once saved Hulk Hogan from Suicide
