What's the difference in his and retail Phantom 100? Have no clue about Pro Stocks myself so just curious.
yall check out the pre-phantom pics of him online, its the same mold with older paint. looks to me like the regular o-port tour 100 mold that pre-dated “textreme”

He was using non ported Phantoms too after the Tour 100 stint though so I don't know. Could be just about anything then, lol

Looks like my Phantom. My eyes cannot see the bridge difference

I think it looks more box beam than classic but could still be the lighting issues. Either way its not that much of a difference. Looks like a 16mm throat or something similar...

I don't think he is using anything you could not buy and have set up.
The post with the pair of 100P on the scale modified by Ring ro11 shows a good picture of the 100P throat.
That said, I have a set of 4 now which I can use when I am feeling energetic.

For those who have played other phantom models does the ported phantom feel more forgiving due to the 03 technology?

If they actually sold the wider/normal beamed Japanese PP100XR outside of Japan, then sure. I just can't bring myself to believe I'm going to get the heft, stability and solidity I'm used to with my 20mm - 22mm, and 22mm racquets from a 16mm - 20mm beam; looks like a matchstick - Textreme notwithstanding.

Tried the ported 100 and the Pro 100p. Found the ported 100 much more stable off center compared to the Pro 100P surprisingly. Pro 100P was a tad jarring off center and not as comfy.
The ported 100 was very comfy, likely because of its softer flex and bigger stringbed feel because of the ported design. Not a fan of super flexy frames but this frame might convert me. Elbow definitely preferred the ported 100.

Don’t knock it until you try it. I’ve got the 100 and 93P and they are almost as stable as my Blade 104 SW, which is an unbelievably stable racket. The 93P is the solid and stable version. The 100 is the more spin friendly comfort version. Both are very sweet frames.

Only spells bad news for me as a person trying to stop buying racquets. I had an exo tour back in the day and found your observation about the phantom 100p to be the same. The ported frames definitely takes it better when you're off center. But the 100P might be the one for precision and touch when you're on. Now I shall contemplate whether I should have a ported phantom in the bag and switch between the 2 depending on how things are on court. Now if someone was to buy me it as a peesent then I'm not technically making a purchase....

Yeah, I know they've developed quite a following; given my experience with my modified TT95 - great feel but lacks the power of my Equipes, particularly on serve - I can't imagine going even thinner and lighter will work for me personally. Ironically, perhaps the reason many people have commented that the 93P is a good serving stick - and has relatively good general power despite its apparently control oriented specs - is that with it's short wide 93" head shape, the distance from hand to sweet spot must be approaching longbody levels. I can't believe Prince won't release a new 97" - longbody would be even better, but I'm dreaming - TT/Phantom type racquet, especially in a more mainstream beam width, given their history with 97"s. That would certainly appeal to me more. I'd like some power to go with the undeniable sweetness, H22 style.

I'm curious, are there any Tour 100 fans out there making the shift to the Phantom?
I moved from Tour 100 16x18 to Phantom 100.
I tried Phantom Pro 100 and 100P but Phantom 100 is similar to my old Tour but little bit stiffer and more stable.

I believe people should play the racket their arm likes best and modify their game to fit that racket. I think trying to find a racket that fits your game best then trying to overcome arm issues from it just leads to long term problems. We all get seduced by easy spin and power but it comes at a price for many.
PP100 x2 ordered. Adios Babolat!
Now I will have to find the best string for my new weapons!! :p
What works well for you in your PP100?

Is it real that lots of Phantom frames are under spec??
Is it real that lots of Phantom frames are under spec??
Not sure. I have 2 frames that are on spec and one that is slightly over spec from a static weight standpoint.

Regardless, they all could use a bit of lead at 12 Oclock I find.

my 2 93p s came in as (unstrung) static weight 11.56 oz, 11.5HL swing, weight 300 according to the label on the handle packaging when purchased from TW.
I did get two racquets matched by TW and I believe they only put these on for the matched services since these weren't provided when I bought 2 pure aeros separately over the summer.
Seems pretty close when compared to the specs for it on the Prince website.
Prince website specs being 12.0oz,12HL, swing weight 300
Comparing the numbers it does seem that the TW specs are with the racquet strung.
You could probably purchase a racquet closest to the original specs if you ask but probably for an extra fee.
No bags came with the purchase.
I think the bags are a hit or miss with TW as I have received one bag for one of my pure aeros while I didn't for the other one.
also no dampener

Nope. Just plastic wrap.
You should demand having one from the Shop, a friend of mine experienced the same and told him to call the seller and if not send them a bag then sent email to Prince, When the seller heard that my friend got his racket bag the next Day, the excuse is that they forgot it.... I know some Shops sell the bag separetely if the buyer dont ask for it

Not from TW in the US...no bag with the phantoms

The bags are so cheapy nowadays that they should just give them to people....free advertising with their giant logos all over it. And it keeps racquets from getting chipped so it makes their paint jobs look bad...

Let us know how you go. Moreover, I'd be interested to see if one plays better to your liking due to QC variance.

That PP100 is a dream!!!! Played 2 hours and my arm from wrist to shoulder feel SO good!!!! Incredible pleasure to play with this magical frame!!!!!!!! Control is awesome!!!!!! Strong spin/slice are so easy to generate!!!! Kick serve are KICKING!!!
And I played with multi 15L gauge (HDX and Multifeel) .... I can't imagine what I will do with thinner gauge of poly!!!!!
WOW as you can see I'm so happy..... Best buy I did for long!!!!! :p
Now I will try Double AR Diablo 17 and Signum Pro X-perience 17 at 46/42lbs (21/19kg). I'm pretty sure that a good poly in this fantastic frame will not hurt my arm like the Pure Aero did.....
What gauge and tension would you all suggest for that (again) MARVELOUS Phantom Pro 100!!!!!!!! :D

Phantoms like poly strung low. Less than 50lbs for sure.
