5'9" Connors was like a little yapping dog. All bark. ..no bite. Connors wasnt going to do anything but wag a finger in McEnroe's face.

Most intimidating of either tour is Serena Williams. If looks could kill.... she'd be in prison.

The most intimidating player Ive seen live was Tommy Haas, surprisingly. Rare I find players intimidating. Its a part of the game. Tommy was aggressive that match.

Del Potro in terms of intimidating look alone. But for overall intimidation factor, it's hard to beat Nadal, especially in his prime. He's the most difficult player to face psychologically.

Serena for WTA. She's just a notch above everyone else.

Delpo isn't intimidating at all.
He's 198cm + pure muscles, but his face is kinda friendly(wolf alike).

Nadal,Safin,Mirny are def. up there. Nadal is just animal. Mirny is called beast for reason. Safin, while he posses charisma also posses intimidating presence. He just oozes with it.

Isner seems to be one guy who doesn't take s-it from anyone. Dimitrov and Tursunov seems like guys who are ready to fight at any moment.

Karlovic is nice guy, but he also posses similiar presence like Safin.

What about Ljubicic? One of the coolest players ever, he even made Roddick to shut up.(That Us Open 2003 thing).

Rafter is another who is nice guy, but seems to be very badass if you provoke him(He almost beat Tarango in 1995)

I would not want to mess with Sam Groth. Didn't he break a racquet over his knee once?
That's at least a Wawrinka special

Speaking of which, I'm surprised he hasn't been mentioned. He seems to have an ever so slight screw loose (don't mean that in a bad way, lol), a bit on edge if you know what I mean, and those are always the most intimidating, because you never know what they might do.

Whenever people complain that the tour is too nice these days, I always think about that moment and laugh. I'll take these current guys acting like professional adults every time over the fake tough guys of yesteryear. Like, did Jimmy forget that he was a tennis player? His and Mac's "confrontation" is one of the most hilariously pathetic things you'll see from two grown men.

I'd give anything to have those days back. That's when tennis was part of the zeitgeist.

The look goes with the body language and overall energy.

In this aspect Rafael Nadal is definitely the winner. He instils fear into his opponent's souls. It seems that only Djokovic has mastered him in a consistent way.

(regarding wta I am not going to mention anything about Serena Williams, simply because if I make a negative comment they will call me a racist, I guess if I make it for a good cause - it would still categorize me as a racist)
