BHB7 is much softer playing, imo. After stringing the first frame with BHS7T it feels much more pliable than BHB7. Almost like BHB7 soft. I am hoping that the tension maintenance is there but it will probably require more tension than BHB7.
Have both Wilson 6.1 95 18x20’s strung at 45lbs. One with BHB7 and the other with BHS7T. Let the testing begin.

I'm a big fan of BHSR. Has anyone tried it in a gut hybrid?
I just saw the video review on TW youtube. A soft poly with excellent tension maintenance that plays like Tour Bite for under $10? I'm totally in.
Tourna makes great strings. Buy it in reels. Tourna is great at giving a discount per set when you buy in reels.. About $5.80 a set in reels... Now that is a deal..

Happy hour $4.50 a set.
Ordered 3 sets to try. Always trying to find something that holds tension well. It’s nice to find a poly string at half the price of Hyper G and 1/3 the price of Alu Power. Better tension maintenance and great playability make this one a winner. Great spin as well.

Being a fan of Black 7, what makes this different from the Black 7? More power? Black 7 always felt razor sharp, where a 16g looked like a 17g.
Anyone who's used both, thoughts?
Hit with both this morning in the 6.1 95 18x20 @ 45/45. (1.25) The BHS7 actually felt less stiff and noticeably easier on the arm, very controllable. The BHB7 had more pop, hitting with depth was much easier. Going to keep playing both to see how it develops. May have to go up a couple of lbs on BHS7. Jury is still out for me on these two strings. My first impression right off of the stringer was different.
Hit three balls with the BHB7 and my brother said “more pop”.
Interesting! I used it for a long time when it first came out, but then switched to Tier-One Tour Status 17g because I felt it had more actual pop in my Prince than the BHB7 (16x19 @ 45/42). Not sure I'd use something "softer" from them but that's good to know. Kind of sounds like a Solinco Hyper-G?
Yes it felt more like Hyper G than BHB7. BHS7T is easy on the arm. It’s like a softer version of Tourbite. Nice to find a controllable poly that isn’t more taxing on the arm and has good tension maintenance.
Have you tried any of the Tier-one stuff? If you're a stringer or a head pro (or say you are lol) they can cut you a 50% deal. I love their strings personally, and great customer service. I can't speak too much on tension maintenance because I move on if I don't like how they feel haha

I found S7T to be softer than Hyper-G. Hyper-G feels more muted on impact whereas S7T has a crisper feel with a hint of springiness to it. The contact feel of S7T is like a hybrid of Tour Bite and Cyclone.
Off center hits feel more muted but also more jarring with Hyper-G.

I found the Silver7 to be a tad more powerful and a tad stiffer than the Black7. Exactly what I wanted as an upgrade to the black. Tension Mait is excellent.
Bought a reel of the BHS7T so sticking with it for awhile. I’m thinking about getting the Blade V7’s on my Wilson contract. Have been back and forth lately with the 6.1 95 18x20 and the PS97. Really like the control of the 18x20. Am accustomed to playing head light frames so am thinking I could put lead strips on the grip with a Wilson Pro over grip and be ready to go. You liking that frame?
anyone know the TWU stiffness rating of this string?
Will be interesting to see what the call is on this string. I have it 2lbs tighter then BHB7 in my frames.
I remember a few weeks ago we were speculating on whether S7T has better tension maintenance than BHB7, which didn't get a good review on that aspect. But you're stringing S7T tighter than BHB7 so it seems tension maintenance hasn't been an issue for you with BHB7, or at least the S7T isn't any better at tension maintenance. Is that correct?
@USPTARF97 Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like I need to give BHB7 a try. I'm not sure I want even more power than I get from S7T, but a bit crisper response would be nice. I'll probably go up a couple of pounds with BHB7, the opposite of what you've done, to try and lower the power levels. Hope I can do that and still retain the higher launch angle.
The reel of BHB7 is also $99.95! What a heck of a deal. It's almost not worth buying just a couple of packs.
