Dimitrov should win this. He always was a tough matchup for Nadal on hardcourt, so he has no excuses not to beat a heavy declined Nadal who is now pretty much an unforced errors machine.

Surprised to see Dimitrov so much of an underdog. Anyone with a huge serve always has a reasonable chance against Nadal on non-clay surfaces. But Nadal should get the job done.

12-1, didn't realize it's that bad because Dimi usually competes pretty well most of the time against Rafa, though not all the time

Lol, no. Nadal is an unforced errors machine right now. If Dimitrov doesn't choke he really should win this. Anyway, none of them is beating Isner in the final.

Yeah to be honest. Isner is in great form and has a good shot at title. I agree with you on that. I think Rafa wins this semi though. We will see

Grigor matches against Nadal well lately so could be a good one, and the reason I picked it would go to 3 with Nadal taking it.

Hoping for a good match, cheering for Rafa. Nothing against Dimitrov here. Just think Rafa winning here keeps Novak on edge and he needs that.

LOL! Nadal is 7-1 against Dimitrov on hard courts. Dimitrov might give him a hard time, but Nadal will win.

I’m exactly the same. The more Rafa wins the better for Novak. Keeps the no1 race close and keep djoko extra focused for next match. I think Rafa will win too!

Saw highlihgts from Nadal QF, he's not losing this
He had to save lots of break points against a player I never heard about. He definitely can lose to Dimitrov, who always gives him problems on hardcourt. Nadal never beat Dimitrov in straight sets on hardcourt.

Nadal will win this! Dimi will push him but I don’t see him beating Rafa. Rafa has been in good form all week.

This is actually for the 1st time I'll agree with strongrule. Despite whatever the scorelines suggest, rafa has really been in a patchy form all week. Failed to serve out the set/match a couple of times, Unusually long battles for 6-1 6-2 sets. He's been lucky that most of his opponents didn't have big serve otherwise it'd been a week full of attrition battles for rafa.

Most probably, Dimitrov will lose anyways, he couldn't beat 2019 Monte Carlo Nadal, so he won't beat him this time as well.
With Isner out, and Fritz in the final, rafa would go heavy favourite in the final (given he gets past grigor, which imo he should)

This is an easy, easy draw. Very fitting for an ATP 500. And Dimitrov is one of Nadal's pigeons (as is Isner). You shouldn't be worried.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like Fritz is in the final instead of Isner. Whatever, that helps my point. If you can still claim that Nadal is an underdog against Fritz, you might have to forfeit your Nadal fan status and turn yourself in to a nuthouse.

Dimitrov might've gained some confidence after beating Wawa. He is a rhythm/form player and he looks solid so far. Could be a fun match. I still expect Nadal to come through though of course.
