I loved UIUC, wouldn't pick any school over it, expect maybe University of Hawaii:lol: Seriously though, UIUC was a great place for me, relatively close to home, and their engineering school was great.

BTW, I live about 65 miles from Cambridge, the question is will they take me in?!

I did a semester of junior college at Oxfart Junior College sometimes referred to as ole miss.
After getting some basics out of the way at Oxfart Junior College, I transferred to Mississippi State University where I graduated with a degree in Business Statistics and Data Processing.

Well, you caught me in mid-edit. The University of Mississsippi is located in Oxford Mississippi. Otherwise known in Starkville as Oxfart. Depending on your school of choice, The University of Mississippi is also known as:
- scUM
- Oxfart Junior College
- old ****
- that place where Miffy and Buffy drink Perrier
- The School that has Coach O-**** we lost to Vandy AGAIN!
- and, last but not least, the only school in the SEC West that hasn't made the SEC Championship Game

I'm being a bit harsh...I just remember driving through corn fields having not seen anything in 100 miles on the team bus when all of a sudden the sign for University of Illinois Champaign popped up. Everyone said it was a fun school but playing on the indoor facility (which was nice) surrounded by cow fields was a bit weird...no as a SoCal guy I couldnt do Champaign...now Madison is a Big Ten spot that's nice...

UIUC has a distance learning program called NetMath and it teaches from Precalc to Probability Theory, Linear Algebra and Differential Equiations. Our son took a few courses there while in high-school and liked them quite a bit. I've generally heard good things about them.

I just finished filling out two applications: one for The University of Arizona and one for the University of New Mexico. I'm going to have our senior counselor look over them tomorrow and then I'll send them out. If I can go to Tucson, I will be so happy.
