Was the goal to beat Rafa or to win the French Open? No doubt Rafa has Fed's number but Fed achieved his mission at this years French. Rafa did not.
Tennis is fun to watch again
No more fretting over Fed's matches in fear of seeing him lose. I always avoided watching his matches in real-time before knowing the outcome. No such tension any more. I can just relax and watch whatever match is on. If Fed doesn't win even 1 more match till he retires, he is still good as GOAT for a few more years and possibly more depending on Nadal's health, and then it will be a new world all over again. It will be all about Del Potros and taller and taller players, and debates here will rage about whether the Fed-Nadal era should be considered slow-motion wimpy tennis.

Sadly no, not legal. Not that, that has stopped me before. I wasn't even at home when I found out fed had won and I don't think my parents would have been too happy with me drinking champagne either way.

My reason is personal, my mom told me it was a drunk driver who hit my grandfather and it's because of this that he died almost 10 years before i was born, so i swore off drinking when she told me this.

Personally, I don't think its as amazing as everyone makes it seem. I've already had my share of drunk experiences and so I'm good.

I commend all you non-drinkers. I for one have never gotten drunk. I keep it to 1 or 2 drinks and leave it at that. Never even been buzzed. However I don't think I could stop drinking altogether. Special night out with the wife, new years, anniversary, Fed winning the FO, you know... special occasions.

My reason for not drinking is pretty inborn. My parents are pretty religious and never drink because of religious reasons. So pretty much my parents have bugged me so much about the issue that I deem it to be unworthy and overrated. I am not religious at all but I guess the message is imprinted into my head.

Those refusing to drink are missing a great time. I didn't drink though as it didn't mean that much to me and I was more upset with what was happening to Nadal. But Fed did deserve it in the end. No denying that.

Oh my parents are also a reason, they don't drink AT ALL, the most is some wine at a party and they never finish the glass..
I couldn't drink...i fell asleep afterwords because the tournament was taxing on my sleeping patterns
My celebrations was choosing Fed in every Tennis game i owned and sh*traping everyone

Ughh..i hate top spin 3..i felt they...tried too hard..
VT3 is bad too though..so unrealistic..
My Fedal Matches in VT3 are weird..the winner is the one who holds serve once..i never take the game seriously so he usually breaks me and i break right back and then hold one and thats enough to win

Hilarious. I'm chuckling as I type. But in all seriousness I am sorry DarthFed missed time with his Grandfather because of a drunk driver. While I'm not against drinking I am aginst getting drunk. If you can't control yourself enough to limit your intake you certainly won't be able to control any of your actions while under the influence.

Keep it that way. Sure you may be missing out on one of life's finer pleasures but if you don't drink you won't get drunk and that's a good thing.
