I get that way about myself to. I'm sometimes long for the past. But yeah Nadal is still Nadal. He is still awesome to watch. Even more enjoyable since he is winning more and playing at a higher level.

About the video you posted, yes it's fun to watch but I think he was expanding too much energy at that time. He has found ways now to be more efficient while saving energy and not getting ultra tired after a few matches. This becomes really crucial as one gets older. You don't want to burn out and you need to keep reserves.

-Not a good fighter? Coming back from 2 sets down, twice, to win 09 FO.

-I would like to see the quote where he says that he doesn't like being #2. He actually said it is better being #2 because there is less pressure to always win.

-He is so talented? 15 slams! Yes, he is so talented.

-Work on weakness? He is the most talented all around player, point out these weaknesses.

-He knows he can beat his opponent. Yes, look at his winning % every year, anyone would think that.

-One Dimensional?? This is the biggest laugh of all!! Federer one dimensional hah. you must mean the drop shots that spin back toward the net. The running forehands, one handed backhands down the line. Nadal, slam the ball over and over from the baseline. nadal net points?? ha, where. Nadal's dropshots are embarrasing for any pro. His game is all bash bash bash from the baseline, ONE DIMENSIONAL.

- Nadal, best in history. Yeah 6 slams, 36 titles, 46 weeks #1, that'll barely get you in the top 20 all time.

Federer is way more fun to watch.

That is true,it must be tough to see their favourite not even able to compete at Wimbledon and lose at the FO for the first time in his career.However some of them really deserve no sympathy whatsoever given how much they were bashing Fed this year,this thread is one example.

Good news for them(and for tennis)is that Nadal's back though,will be interesting to see how he does for the rest of the year.

With the top player out of the picture for RG and W 09, Federer should be pleased to have USO 08 as his last meaningful slam title.

What I found funny is that Nadal fans themselves accused Fed fans of being frontrunners,deserting him when he loses etc. while they supposedly will always stick by Nadal because they are true fans and similar.Yet when Fed was losing all the time last year(USO being one exception)there was still a huge amount of Fed fans still posting here sticking by Fed no matter what but now when things don't go well for Nadal at the moment so many of Nadal fans just disapperaed completely.

They should be happy most Fed fans dont kick Nadal like they were kicking Fed with what endless no. of threads on how he needs to retire,ridiculous amount of bashing,how arrogant he is,this and that.That was so much more than Nadal ever got from us and there's quite a no.of Federer fans in this forum.
