Gene Mayer, Joey Rive, Kathy Rinaldi, Andrea Temesvari (?) Mark Knowles c. 1990...

Knowles used the 90. Rafter used the Graphite II 95. The Graphite Chang Longbody that Rochus uses is 95. Ferrero, Nalbandian, and Coria used the Graphite Longbody that is 100sq.in. TW sells it.

Paul Goldstein used it at one point, as did Larry Scott. I know that's getting a bit obscure, but what the heck.

How could I forget - Paul McNamee... I think he even credited it with his win over Borg in Baltimore WCT '81 (?)

That racquet created a sensation back then that's pretty rare for a piece of equipment. Gene Mayer switched to the OS and in no time leapfrogged from nowehere to #4 in the rankings.

Peter McNamara, who played great doubles with McNamee, briefly tried POGOS but went back to his similarly oversized but very flexy Prince Woody.

Wow. That sounds like the opposite of a players stick...

Back in the lates 70's and early 80's it was a player's racquet.

Peter Doohan
I remember Doohan pulling his huge Wimbledon upset of Becker with a Pro (the aluminum one Berger used). Did he switch to the Graphite afterward? (If so, do you reckon it gratitude on Prince's part for what that upset did for their racquet sales?)

What was the frame Pioline used when he first came on the scene ? Is was a white Prince, but not the ceramic...

Also a Prince Magnesium Pro 90! Pioline's were painted white, though, for reasons I've never been able to guess. Someone on these boards acquired a couple of his old ones, IIRC.

Don't forget Jimmy Brown and Lawson Duncan both used the Prince Graphite Oversize. Both top 50 players in the 80's.
