After all these years,,,Donlad still playing very Immateur tennis. Double fault on break point and so on. but that isn't the real problem here. Donald leaving too many groundies short in the middle of the court. These balls are like nice practice feed balls to Cilic..............LOL
I live in the Atlanta area, and I guarantee you there are guys playing AA level ALTA that can beat Donald Dung.
For those not in Atlanta so not familiar with it, ALTA is a huge local amateur league. About 100,000 people play in the league.
Um, right. Give the guy some credit - he might not be lighting the pro tour on fire, but he's hovered around 100 for a while and has had a high in the 70's (I think). Anyone who can beat him is not going to be playing rec tennis.

You don't understand ALTA. There is someone, probably more than one, playing AA1 ALTA (that is the highest level) who could beat Donald Dung. I guarantee it.
It was interesting how Pat McEnroe trashed Young during the match. Of course, everything McEnroe said was true, but many people will still take it personally.
You should have seen the ESPN3 stream for the Young match. They slander that guy to hell. It was very lulzy. It was interesting how Pat McEnroe trashed Young during the match. Of course, everything McEnroe said was true, but many people will still take it personally.

That's because Donald Young is arrogant, and hypes himself up along with a few other of his fans (who have now receded into the darkness and shall not be named) who thought he was the next coming of Federer.
I remember saying that he was trash and Isner would be a way better player then him. Looks like I was right.
Donald Young is just too arrogant and is not as good as players his age or younger. Cilic has accomplished more than Young ever had. Cilic was ranked as high as #9 in the world. Young could not even get into the Top 70. Yet Donald once said his goal was to win all grand slams at least twice. Not even Federer, Nadal, Williams sisters would say such a thing. He is no Nadal or Chang. He is no longer the youngest anymore. Donald Young even lost to a younger player - Ryan Harrison last year when Ryan was only 17 years old at that time when Ryan beat Donald.
Even Japanese tennis star Kei Nishikori who is younger than Donald has won an ATP tournament and was ranked as high as #56 in the world.
Watching the few minutes that I did of that match, it looked like Young could hit rally shots OK but just doesn't have that one weapon to pressure the opponent.
I agree, especially his forehand, he spins it to much, should hit it a little flater, make it a weapon.

Lol.... sure... young might suck compared to the top 10. But against rec players he will be goat. Get real.
Again, none of you have any idea about ALTA. AA1, the top level is comprised of a lot of former NCAA players, former satellite tour players, and even as an example, a Doug Flach who beat Agassi at Wimbledon back in the day, played ALTA. Donald Dung would be a great #1 on a AA1 team, and even then would not be a lock to win Line 1.
Don't want to sound racist or anything but maybe he doesn't want to leave his gang in Atlanta?

I think he can be a top 10 player if he puts the time in.
Donald is still young
Did Young lose to someone from Tennis Tennis or to a player with incredible upside? Reading these comments you think Young was bagel'd in a WTT match at the local park.
There's a guy at my club who just had his 75th birthday and could probably give Donald Duck a run for his money.
