How many Racquets do you have in your bag?

I have been playing with 2 racquets for the longest time, just a back up in case the strings broke on one of them. However, I just saw a craigslist ad and someone is selling 2 used k.six one 95s for $120, which seems like a great deal to me. They're 1 size down (3/8) but I could always just buy some shrink sleeves and up the size.

Actual Game Use - 4 (2 "matched", 1 similar, 1 completely different)
For Fun - 4 (totally different from each other)
Somewhere in-between - 2 (matched)

4 for me. Two near identical match rackets, a fun racket and a heavier version of the match rackets. A very good playing friend of mine carries just two identical rackets and broke a string in the first game of our Club quarter final and was bricking it the rest of the match. I think you need 3 for serious games at least, two for recreational tennis.

6 currently but that's due to the fact that I'm still kind of in the demo'ing stage so I am carrying two different sticks. Usually I'll carry 3-4 of the same racket.

6-8 depending on what I'm doing. 6 on a good day where I'm just out for a hit with a hitting partner, and 8 for a tournament. (I go through poly like nobody's business.)

It depends on what I'm playing with at the time. Lately I have been using the Rossi F200s a lot. I have 4 of them that are matched for weight and balance. Two of them have the same string at the same tension (ToughGut @52 with 10% pre stretch), the other two have Pacific Classic (@55 with 10% pre stretch) with one set of the string treated (a process that I have patent-pending on) and one untreated for comparison.

If I'm playing with something else (Dunlop Max200g or 300i usually) I have three matched rackets.

Depending on who I'm playing/hitting with, I may put in a couple wooden rackets or something else fun to take out and whack a few balls with, like a Head Graphite Pro or Composite Edge.

If I get back to playing tournaments in the future I will likely go to 5-6 matched rackets in the Tourney bag so that I won't need to restring no matter what happens (I'm not a string breaker, but I also don't like to take chances in that sort of situation).

When I went to tournaments far away or traveled for tennis in my junior days it was 12 but now in college I only brought 4 with me, 8 earlier when I was playing varsity but would rather play basketball or do mma/weightlifting than devote all my time to tennis. At home when I play USTA tournaments or train with my coach it's usually 6. All the racquets are the same model, strung the same way, and spec matched

I'm not really a string breaker, so I just roll with the 2 racquets I feel like playing with that date. Any more and my racketoholism is exposed.

I normally bring two. At the moment, I have three in the bag but that's just because I'm transitioning frames. My bag will only hold three unless I put racquets in the other compartment which I don't like to do. I like to bring one can of balls, two liters of water and an energy bar.

I have been using Full Poly though. I am thinking of going to Synthetic Gut with the new frames and that may mean bringing three in the future.

7 in my bag.

2 mid-plus, 2 over-size for me. 2 for my wife, and 1 for my daughter.

Our family plays often enough that I never bother pulling them out even when I am going out by myself.

I carry around 2 completely different racquets (except their weight is the same).

The other one is just in case the strings break on the first, but because the first is strung with poly strings, it usually never breaks. I usually restring before I get to my backup racquet.

I carry six. Two of the same ones or three of the same ones. Usually I have at least three of the same racquet. Two are strung the same and one is always strung a little lower in tension with a different string set up. Usually it depends on who I play and or where I play. Then I adjust the racquet or string combo I use.

back in the 90s when i strung my PS85 at 62 lbs with syngut, about 5 racquets. Now with poly strung around 30lbs, 2 racquets because the strings never break before i cut them out.

Two, matched. After switching to poly mains a couple of years ago, breaking strings no longer a concern. I usually rotate rackets every set and restring both at the same, every other week to every few weeks depending on how much I play.

3 for me. (See Signature) Although I string them all the same, same string, same grip, etc., I have no idea if they are actually "matched". They all feel the same and I rotate them out every set...

both weigh in at about 402 grams, 320mm balance, (never really measured the swingweight) and strung with synthetic main and poly crosses @55lbs.

I'm not sure about swingweights and mgr/i.. but can you guys calculate for me (since i am not really familiar with the equation)? i am trying to get my optimum weight for my racquet
