Goran Ivanisevic saying something similar. He's on 5live and trolling John Inverdale.

Inverdale trying to remain all 'BBC' and balanced, Goran just being all "There is absolutely no way Federer can win this match, there is no way he can deal with Murray."

Excellent.

He has some brains this Goran. Must know something about tennis!

VERY good hold by federer, holding murray off there. That shot down the line that murray almost pulled off after the federer's impressive backhand smash would of been the shot of the whole aussie open if he pulled it off.

Can I remind you this match will last for at least 3 sets, possibly 5? If you can correctly predict the rest of the match, you might wanna call yourself a psychic.

Let's get something straight if Murray wins the first set this match is over fed win not have the stamina to come back after the tsonga match vs Murray who is physically in sick shape.

5 winners from Federer

Murray has simply not been taken out of his comfort zone.

Murray's brute strength has been so controlled and he is hitting such a heavy ball. Federer is not rattling him at all.

The difference in level is obvious at the moment. Federer is struggling just to stay competitive.

Murray's backhand looking good. Cooler conditions favor Murray I think.

Let's not start with the excuses already... Murray is simply the better player.

Conditions are terribly slow. Expecting murray in straights now.

You're trolling hard. Match just started. Should pace yourself.

Fck of!. Just fck off with your excuses.
Veroniquem is right.
Murray's best results have come in fast conditions.
He's hammered Djokovic, Federer and Nadal multiple times in these conditions so stop it with the nonsense.

Murray will have ton of trouble holding here. All these stats mean nothing. I see Fed break unless Murray goes for it in the big points.

That improved Murray forehand technique is making a huge difference. Andy is deadly on both sides now, and even more so on the forehand than backhand for power. Roger is screwed unless Andy drops his level.

Everytime murray is forced to play a point to federer's forehand, the next point is ALWAYS putting it back on federer's backhand. Its such a simple plan but its working so well.

Everyone knows federer's forehand is scary.

Federer is keeping it competitive. Murray just has him by the balls since he broke early and is defending his own serve very well.

Class tennis by Murray, he seems very relaxed.

I think the USO victory is making all the difference in Murray's attitude. He outplayed Federer for one and a half sets at Wimbledon too but the pressure of winning the first slam in front of his home crowd got to him and Fed was just not willing to give up Wimby so easily.
Today is different, I think. Looking at how things are going so far, Murray may take this in straights.

From those serve stats, sounds like back problems from Fed.

Good sign for Muzza if the Fed fans are already overdoing the excuses. Fed's serve deteriorates when his opponents are challenging it. That's why Nadal has so much success against him.
