This will definitely go to 3 I think. Djokovic with a quick start, 6-3, and Nadal scrapes his way back in a v. tight second set, finds his form in the third and beats a slightly depleted Djokovic in the 3rd. Both call MTO's.

Starts at 2PM Monte Carlo time. Meant to rain.

I wouldn't underestimate Fog, so the match thread is premature.

If Novak does win his SF, it will be a battle of PI vs CI. (Perennially Injured vs Currently Injured ). How exciting.

If it goes to form then you have to fancy Rafa in two as Djokovic has only won one of their last seven sets on clay and that was only when the weather turned. On a sunny day with no elements to affect it then you have to say straights. Maybe 7-5 6-4, something like that.

Nadal was playing better last year than he is this year. The mess he just made of the second set against Tsonga should tell you how a match vs Cvac will turn out.
