i received this grip from a prize that i got from a gamma facebook contest. while surfing around the threads. people say that this grip is the old version of the "famous gamma supreme". then recent verison of the gamma supreme, people say it wasnt the same. so, i might give the recent version of supreme a try later in the future. for now, i'll take a stab in this grip that i got for free.
Installation: this grip is on the stiff side, it's not easy to stretch this grip. it feels like your putting duck tape over your replacement grip. the finishing tape doesnt pose a problem and does it's job of securing the grip in place.
Feel: This grips doesnt as dry as a viper nor tacky as a solinco wonder grip. it's middle of the road. for the width of the grip, it also fits in the middle of between thin and thick. it feels these grip can hold up a while.
Duration: The feel takes some break in time. then after some hours, it starts to feel better. after the 10hr mark, there isnt any peeling at all. i was shocked by this and it still feels the same when i broke it in. after the 20hr mark, i finally notice the peeling. it's very minor, i mean, really minor. you can see the 2nd white layer of the grip, but you wont even notice it. i had a black verison, so i didnt see any dirt marks.
Overall Results: This one is one of the most durable grips that i tried. it lasted longer than any of the grips that i tried so far. it got me thinking of switching to this grip. however, the shop around my area doesnt carry this grip, so i cant make the official switch. maybe this is why the old version of supreme dominate. most of the people in TT likes this stuff. i would say this is one heck of a fine quality grip here from gamma. overall, i'm impressed. 9/10
i'll do more playtest starting next week. i'm bombard with assignments from college and cant find free time to hit. expect 1 or 2 new reviews next week.
What do you think the best the grip for a moderate sweater is?
I have yonex supergrap now but I am thinking of switching to wilson pro because it is thinner.
If you want something thinner, try the sensation version. It's a lot thinner than the wilson pro original and the yonex.I have yonex supergrap now but I am thinking of switching to wilson pro because it is thinner.
I think the sensation will be too thin I'm gonna go with the regular pro.

Toalson Ultra Grip in White! tackiest, most durable OG i've used.
sorry for the inactivity, college is really taken more of my free time than expected. i have babolat pro team tacky on my list. never heard of **** overgrips before. but i'll look into it after
What is the most tacky overgrip you have used?
I just put the Wilson Pro Sensation on one of my sticks to try it out. If you like thin, this is an excellent choice.
I used it, the sweat absorption is bad. I had it for less than a week and the grip was moving all over the handle. I could feel the grip shift up and down the handle when I hit the ball.
Yeah, should have clarified my comment. I was only referencing the thickness as I haven't tried it on the court yet. Like anything, it probably varies from person to person. I'm not a bad sweater, so that may not be as much of an issue for me as it is for others. All I can say for now is that I like how it feels initially...
its slightly thicker than the pro.Thanks. But how thick is that one?
Dark, which one have you found is most similar to Supergrap? Now that Supergrap has raised their price again, I may start experimenting with others.
Tourna Megatac is the BEST ever. it is so tacky, it is great
yea but expensive.
and there are no "reels", so...

all good things are expensive, just like women
i decided to pause my overgrip journey. i might try more in the future. i'm moving on to reviewing strings. I might return playtesting more overgrips around the spring season. thanks for those to rated this thread and bring some discussions to this thread. cheers to you all.

Any chance you will do reviews on other string types other than multis? I'm pretty sure Mikeler got that type covered. Would like to see a poly review thread.
i am going towards the poly department. check the new thread that i created in the string section. i listed polys that will be coming into the thread,
