Is Djokovic more consistent than Federer ever was?

He might be. Depending how he copes with the significant speed loss he will experience in 2014 and 2015, he could challenge or even break Federer`s slam semifinal streak.

No matter how consistent he is though he will never be as great a player as Federer or Nadal.

What kind of stupid thread is this?

Yeah I know. It's like people already forgot about little things like 18 finals out of 19 consecutive slams or the 237 consecutive days at number #1 or 23 consecutive slam semis or 36 slams consecutive slam quarters.

Djokovic is far more consistent considering that he has to compete in a strong era against players like Nadal.

What a joke. Djokovic has had one year in his career - ONE - in which he won a slam outside of his pet tourney. Federer was 1 match away from having a calendar slam - twice. Novak is is a fantastic player, but seriously it's not even close.

Speak to me when Djokovic has 10 years of reaching the QF consistently in slams.

Sarcasm obv but if not you can not be serious:)

You need to VERY CONSISTENT off BOTH WINGS to beat Nadal. Do you realize how difficult it is? Nadal is the litmus test for tennis performance. Either you can beat him with a good record spanning several meetings, or you can't. All other "records" are meaningless, like consistently being at the top of the class in a no-name college.

10 straight slam finals. 23 straight semis. 36 straight QF's. Won at least 2 slams from 2004-2007. 237 straight weeks at number 1. You tell me!

No one with 28k posts is anything but a troll, I am sorry.

The guy is good but as I said before he is not god and has lost to some real winners outside of his fav surface. Do you really want to base an entire era and consistency on beating one guy? You have no credibility.

Pretty sure up until the end of Federer's dominant reign the H2H was like 7-6 or 7-5 Nadal, but I could be wrong. Not as bad as some of you make it seem.
