If you want to try a synth gut, BTT has Babolat N.Vy black for $3.99. But you can only get two sets at a time. The black is nicely lively, crisp, and a little dead feeling. And it has a very slick coating. You said any string, so I thought I'd offer it up even though you seem to be looking for a poly.
Are you trolling me? Syn Gut? hehe
Sorry I should have specified a poly.

Yeah I know, I just want to minimize the amount of times.

And 1.25 Vendetta, 1.30 MultiFeel.
I strung Red Devil 1.24 / Multifeel 1.25 @49/53 and it was pretty good. Maybe on the control side.
Multifeel 16 is stiffer and wider, so I'd want to go down 2 lbs.
Vendetta is softer, so I'd want to go up a lb.
But I'd still want to keep a 4 lb. differential.
Try 49/53 or 50/54, depending on how much power/firmness you want.

how is the feel? can you compare it to another string?
I've not used a lot of strings so difficult to compare sorry but provides a lot of spin can really feel it cutting the ball, less feel than the likes of red devil but very good spin and control, can hit the s*** out of the ball without worrying too much about it flying long

After going through a whole reel, Pro's Pro Nano vendetta is really good. Does everything well, the only bad aspects are durability and touch. Control is super.

vendetta is a polystring ive had the most trouble dialing in the tension, i kept goign up and up and up on it, does not seem soft, but it playes with a lot of power
ive had easier time with reddevil, concept, strategem and others

Devil spin 1.26 I find really nice to play with. Gives great spin, tricky to string with though

agreed, and initially like you, very nice to play with, lots of spin, but then it strated to move on me, almost before the first set
and with all that coil memory, i gave up on this string
i might have to try it again but prestertching

what tension did you guys tie up devil spin? and what string bed pattern?

cheers

The coil memory is atrocious so I don't blame you giving up! I strung mine on a head youtek speed pro (the original one from about 2010) at around 63 pounds and I think on a 16x19 string pattern but I may be wrong

Re: Devil Spin - I see both PP and Toalson have a string thus named; anyone knows if it is the same string? I'm asking since where I live only the Toa is available.

Pro's Pro Concept 1.28mm - The best pro's pro string I have tested so far. Crisp with some pocketing. Fantastic control and touch. Good power for a poly. Not sure about durability but played fine for 3 hours. Serving was fine with it.

I would say this string is similar to Kirschbaum Max Power or Topspin Cyber Flash. It is not as low powered as Max power but not as soft as CF. Really good feedback, crispest string I have tried from Pro's Pro.

i like this string initially, im not sure how long it lasts before it starts to loose control
i ll have to try the thicker gauge like you, to see if its just the 18g one that stretches too much too quickly..

got a pack of pp.KUDETA, 17g 1.25mm
strung it up yesterday
stringing straight forward, poly stiff, crisp feel
reminded/similar to pros.pro.spinox, no extra texture
cannot see the bumps, very slight feel of them
normal coil memory; not stretchy
will post after hitting with it

Been playing with a hybrid of Hexaspin twist (?--I think that is what it is called) in the mains with Solinco Syn gut in the crosses at 48lbs. Love it!! Spin is there when I want it and the power from the syn gut gives it a bit more feel. I'm really liking this poly hybrid. It grabs the bell well---lots of fuzz left on the strings after some good hitting. Super cheap!

P.S. Hexaspin Twist looks EXACTLY like Pacific Spin6. I will take a picture when I get home. It's eerily similar. Haven't hit Spin6 to compare just yet, but I will show the two side by side.

On the PP website it even says "This german co-poly"...... hmmmmm

The 1.28mm concept lasts a lot longer than other pro's pro strings I have used. I can play with it for 3 outings (same as cyber flash).

After a nice stint with my DOS DIABLOS(Devil Spin Mains/Red Devil Cross 52/52lb) setup I have tuck my reel of Devil Spin away. Nothing negative to report on the playability just a nightmare to string up. Gone back to my ol' trusty BlackOut setup. I freaking love this string! Its no surprise so many people here love it! Solid through and through. I practice and feed with the BlackOut in the mains and Forten Nylon in the crosses at 55lb and play full bed in matches at 52lb.

I just got my first reel of Blackout after going through a reel of Red Devil (got another reel of RD also). Strung it at 54 and wasn't sure I liked it at first. I think I was used to the red devil's softness and the Blackout was just a bit firmer.

Every time I used the Blackout it felt better and better. Notches were about halfway through the string and the mains started to not snap back and my elbow started to notice the strings deadness, so I restrung today at 52 and I think I have found my goto string for the foreseeable future.

I also felt that the Blackout played well for much longer than Red Devil which for me played awesome for about an hour and then just average until it broke or I cut it out, but the Blackout played much better up until the mains stopped staying straight.

Not sure how you can beat this stuff at under $3 a set.

I have arrived at the same conclusion. Although Plus Power is my second favourite PP string (though RD also quite nice), Blackout has an addictive blend of power, spin and control at such an attractive price point. I will probably hybrid with Plus Power crosses on my practice sticks so my current reels don't go to waste, but full bed Blackout will be my matchplay setup.

Tried PP Black force and found it to be a bit dead then switched and used Blackout a few times now and have found it amazing as a full bed and the price makes it just that bit more sweeter!

I have now updated my stringbed to include BlackOut at 54 and placed Discho Iontec Black 1.25 in the crosses at 50lbs. The fullbed of BlackOut at 52 is really solid but I'm looking for a bit more of a knockout punch with the hot and humid conditions here in the *******. So far this combo is feeling very nice and the Discho Iontec has a nice pop and is quite slick which mates well with the BlackOut.

low powered and soft would be hitec multifibre and hotstuff, the clay court plus is on the stiffer side of things but adding a little bit on durability.

When you string them at 30 kg, Hitec is much stiffer than CCP and settles down at 27, i.e., 5 kg higher than CCP.

at 30kg i would probably break it in 30mins, at 21,5 it breaks as a cross in 2hrs. ccp strung at 20,5 broke in 2,5hrs.

I bought a reel of Hot Stuff, have not played with it yet, will soon. It is a very soft string, safe to say good for elbow sufferers.
The package says "prestretched" gauge 1,33. When stringing, Hot Stuff looks considerably thinner than 1,33 and it also stretches
like crazy, never seen any other string stretching nearly as much as this one.

Finally got to play Red Devil 1.14 in my 18x20 6.1 95 today. Strung at 54/51 lbs it played very nice!

Keep an eye on the width of your hoop with the Iontec Black crosses. They tend to stretch with age.

Thanks Muppet! Man I got to admit that Discho Iontec just beats the shiz out of my arm! I love it but Gawd Dang it's just not worth it for me.

been given a set of it to try. have to string it and will try it in the next few days, so I can write my impression if interested

Yeah I'm definitely interested. We know that Interceptor is a German made string and Yonex Poly tour pro isn't so I'm going thinking it's a copy of head Lynx. Gonna buy a reel just need to get thru my black out and red devil first.

some are correct but some are definitely not, for instance:
claycourt plus - tecnifibre x-one biphase
hexaspin twist - solinco barbwire
ichiban spin - babolat pro hurricane tour
intense heat - msv cofocus
lethal 5 - solinco tour bite
lethal 8 - alu power rough

the dynapower syngut is quite close to og sheep micro for instance, not the regular synthetic. there are quite a few i haven't played so can't comment.

IMO, Hexaspin Twist is NOT easy. It plays pretty stiff. I will say Black Out is generally the easiest if strung below 50 lbs. Black Out is IMO the best offering from PP. If another string company come out with black out it would get praised left and right.
