The tighter matches often hinge on break point conversion. He remains really substandard in that area. They have cost him major championships recently. I don't know why someone of his talent and experience would experience tightness in key match moments, but if he can improve at least a little, the other strengths will carry the day.

That's called being human. He's not beating Djokovic in the SF if it comes to that either.

Fed's match is at the ideal time tomorrow AM here in India (just after I get up :D) , however, sadly there are three doubles matches on with Indians at around that time. Leander, Bhupathi and Bopanna. So we'll just have to rely on some crappy live stream to see Fed. :(

Grrrrrrr !!

If Young Kylo can't take down in his physical prime someone 10 years older than him - then what hope is there for the Dark Side?

Well, he won't be young for long I'm afraid, but he's a got a few years left ahead of him.

Hope Rog can get it done in three. He needs to save as much energy as he can if he has to have any prayer against Djokovic.

Dimitrov finally got a set off Fed in Brisbane. But his play against Troicki in the Sydney final shook my confidence - double faults galore and beat up the net on routine rally BHs.

Fed - something like 75 63 62.

PS - never thought I'd root for Berdych - but Kyrgios really worries me and could derail Fed's path to the SF showdown (where the faster surface might help him - if he can serve ~70% - to get one on Djokovic at a major). Go Tomas! You can do it! :)

Is it really that quick? Looks very medium to my eyes, neither slow nor fast, much like like last year. I doubt it's as fast as USO. I don't give Feder much of a chance against Djoko here, but I truly hope I'm wrong.

Bulgarian Genius. Shhhh!

With a slam win, the Young Artist will surpass the great Christo as supreme Bulgarian Genius. This match tonight is but the first step towards that realization.

Should be a fairly simple, routine third round match. Don't expect any surprises. Maybe a close first set. Dimitrova should already be looking forward to the next round against Goffina. His real first test should be the exciting new young Australian tennis star single bh serve and volleyer Ned.

Then after that, the veteran multi slam winner Tomic in the final.

Amazed that Goffin won that point! Thiem's drive down the line accelerated a ton after it hit the court

(Sorry! Bouncing between threads)

Vader v Kylo Ren is not a fair fight; Kylo barely started his training... He got beat by a total novice Force user
She might not be a total novice actually ;) ...

If POVA ends up affecting the outcome of any of Fed's next matches...
