He seems to be a fast starter in big matches, at least against Federer and Djokovic. I remember in both Wimby finals he played in, he came out firing in the first set and broke his opponent almost immediately (also winning the first set convincingly in both matches).

Murray having a bit of a fit because Istomin actually had the audacity to hit a return winner. One of the reasons why he'll never be high on my list of favourite players, no matter how much I respect him as a player.

Murray is an extremely easy player to dislike based on his style of play, even for his biggest fan and regardless of results,

Murray's swing speed is really slow. That has a lot to do with the relative lack of pace on his shots compared to Djokovic/Nadal/Federer etc.

Murray's never had a very whippy stroke, that's just translated from the way he learned the game, I suppose. He also uses a relatively heavy racket as well, which is why you rarely see him blown off the court against big hitters, and his defense and movement is spectacular for a guy his size.

He 'pushes' because he can. And you can't hit through him
