Andy Murray had a better record (around 57%) against top 10 opponents early in his career than at any point later. Till the end of 2010 the w/l rate was something like 40:30 (57%). At present the rate is 101:82 or 55,2%

It's not that weird actually. Djoker-Murray H2H till 2010 was 4-3. Since 2010 it has been 21-8.
Fed-Murray H2H till 2010 was 6-8. Since then it has been 8-3.
Despite that his record against the top10 only took a dip of 1.8%. That might mean that although he kept winning against the field at a similar/better rate he kept losing to Fedovic more and more.

Murray's H2Hs against both Federer and Djokovic were close right up to 2013. By the end of that year, he was 11-9 vs Federer and 8-11 vs Djokovic. Towards the end of 2013 he underwent his 1st surgery (on his back) and, since then, the respective H2Hs, especially against Djokovic, have become much more lop-sided. I don't think it is a coincidence.

He also gathered wins over them in a period when they were losing to all kind of players so it evens out.

Just go along with pretending Murray (the same guy who got walloped by Fed at the 2008 US Open, 2010 Australian Open and 2012 Wimbledon finals) was "right up there" with him.

Andy is not the same calibre player (Federer or Nadal or Djokovic) but he has his peaks.
