Agree? Rafa peaks from time to time, this particularly year's peak was longer than before, but fact is fact-- Nadal is a part-time top player, while Federer is constantly great.
Nope. This year's peak was just longer than before. It doesn't change a thing that Nadal only wins something important when they peak him (ask Tio Tony how they do it). In early years that was only during the French Open, then Wim was added. When he tried to peak during the Aus Open he burned out later. These are facts. The guy cannot play the whole season evenly.nadal won 3 slams this year dude. i'd say he's full time.
Yeah, Nadal's a part-time player.
I heard he's considering dropping his professional status and dedicating half his time to amateur tennis and the other half schooling Murray on PS3.
StanDford is scouting him out for College Tennis as we speak.
Is this thread a joke?
The thread is serious...the man who posted it however...is a joke.
Nadal peaked during the French-Wim as always + he prolonged his luck (not peak) up to the US Open.
You acting like you forgot his 11 months titleless streak.
Wake me up when Rafa wins something at the start of the year and in the end of the year. Until then Zzzzzzz.Well I dont know if anyone won more titles than Rafa this year! Plus of the BIG four slams he won 3/4 so thats pretty full time!
Roger played really great today, really calm I liked the play but at least we got to see 3 sets..
Poor CMM, her violet Rafatito avie hasnt turned out to be lucky.*hug*

Today's match wasn't any worse. If you like offensive tennis, that is. But as you are a fan of Murray and Nadal I believe it's pointless to reason you, no?Yesterday's semifinal was one of the best matches of the year and Rafa showed why his fans like him so much.
So this tournament has been pretty good.

Leave me alone. Im talking about Rafael.you're forgetting that roger didn't win anything in between
Yeah, he managed it well this season. But I refer to the prev seasons as well...Every one gets tired but maybe Rafa exertion is too much and maybe that why he does well in that stretch. It still doesn't mean he loses 1st round or 2nd round in the end of the season or begging of the season. He just does better in the clay-grass session. This season however he managed it well...and next year I bet he would manage even better...who knows what Rafa can acomplish but he will defintly be stopped by the big 4!
Davis Cup is not an ATP tournament. Nor is it of any importance. He started 2009 winning AO and ended the year winning the Davis Cup.

Put your pink glasses off honey. Rafa is never tired. AO precedent anyone? The semifinal was much better.
Federer was aggressive because Rafa allowed him to be. Rafa was tired.

But these are excuses... It's not like Rafa couldn't run in the final set, he was just blown off court by supreme Roger... why is it so hard to admit? That was at the beginning of the season and he also had a day of rest.
Now he's had a great long season and he played a very tough match yesterday, without having too much time to rest before the final.

My first ever thread that has 3 stars rating. Probably because it is this good thread.
Try to learn to read and, most important, to think. Go analyse 2009 and previous seasons. When you come back you may speak. And where was Federer between the end of the Australian Open and the end of Wimbledon? Just one final in all that time. He went missing for chunks of 2010 by your logic.
This wasn't necessary to specify.:lol:I rated it 5 because your stupidity made me lol

 Thanks for the laugh.Wake me up when Fed can manage to beat Nadal in a final where Nadal is not tired or injured. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz. He only beat healthy and fresh pre-prime Nadal in finals. 2005-2007 is pre-prime Nadal. Since 2008 he only beats Nadal when he is burnt out.
