Its fast and low bouncing. Very few rallies so far.
However may slow down as the tournament goes on as i think that happens at Us Open
How can that happen on a hard court? Besides of weather changing

Not sure but i know at Us Open that can happen. If they do a close up of the court you will see its not smooth like the AO so maybe thats why.
I dont know, sometimes you can get that impression because at first they play in secondary courts that are normally faster, whereas in the final rounds they always play in the main courts, it also can be that at first, players need to get used to conditions and rely more on power and miss more, giving a fast court impression, whereas in later rounds, they tend to slow down the pace and be more consistent, i dont know just guessing some things

This is where i get annoyed by commentators they never go into detail about how the courts are playing and the balls. Its all important.

They are never very technical, even less so in spain, i hate spanish tennis comentators, they only say things like "vamos rafa, great forehand, or , wow amazing backhand, he is hitting the ball good now, oh too many double faults, he needs to make less" obvious things like that

jokes aside, I do think Nadal’s chances of winning the Open are minimal on this new court. Everything he hates. Fed and Djoker would absolutely thrive here though

Given who's left in the draw at this point I honestly think that even current Fed could win this. Would just need to find someone to hold his beer.

Thoughts on the conditions out there? Fast, medium, slow? High bounce, medium bounce, low bounce?

How do you think it is playing. Looks like an attacker's court to me.
I think McEnroe et al have been saying they are fast but what do they know.

Now that Casper beat Berry and Khachanov beat Kyrgios, are we back to agreeing this is medium/slow with high bounce?????

Bounce cannot be argued with. I was astounded by how much lift Khachanov's balls [in particular] got.

The commentators seemed to think that the humid atmosphere due to the roof being closed was responsible for the lift and, in general, favoured Khachanov.

Yes, pretty high bouncing but not that slow, perhaps? Closed roof made it more humid > slower.

Thursday/ Friday: Sunny and hot - quicker conditions - ad Sinner and Khachanov?
