are u serious??? it's 1 of the livelliest string among the multi, and it even got some awards for many consecutive years, izit gamma TNT or gamma other multi, seriously gamma livewire is good !!!

May be good but NFL, not for long.

poly- gosen polyon

syn gut- wilson reaction

polyon is just like a board and just and overall feel that i dislike- tennis elbow

reaction is just about the worst syn gut ever, not that great feel and i snap it in a day or 2

Dead Poly

Dead Poly would have to be the worst of all.
I also had someone string my racquet with white head syn-gut 15ga it actually made a craking sound when i hit my first ball.

I don't remember the exact name but I'm sure there's a string out there called Toalson Ivory and my god it was a horrible string.

Problend, also Yonex 850 which everyone seems to like...mush. Didn't like RIP control much but it wasn't the worst. Will not be trying hollowcore :)

For me it was a Luxilon string no longer for sale. I can't remember the name of it, but it was their highest priced string and I couldn't keep a ball in court with it.

WOW, I am assuming most didn't like the string because of durability or because it was strung wrong. A good stringer can make a big difference, the right tension can make a big difference. One bad experience should not negate a strings performance. Just as one premature breakage should not be a final verdict on that particular string. But then again I agree that these are all OPIONIONS!

a "good stringer" is not going to make a big difference in the way a string preforms

Wilson Sensation 16: I strung it at 68 lbs. in my Pro Staff Tour 90 and it broke during the warm up.

Hum...excellent topic...

Other than standard nylon, I'll have to go with Babolat Razor Spin...

It's a poor replacement of Super Fine Play Rough...

ANY Gamma strings. They lose tension and playability after a few hours. What a waste of time and money to use them in my racquets. IMHO.

#1 Prince Synthetic Gut. #2 Prince Pro-Blend. Why, in the name of God, would anyone who wants to have even a single ounce of feel in their game, want to install either of these strings in their racquet ?

MSV Focus Hex. It made the feeling for my stringbed suck while also bitting into my biphase.Litterally the worst string I ever will use. I don't understand what all the fuss is about this string.

Can remember Pro-blend was introduced during the Wide-body days. If you used a Profile feel was not of much concern.

Wilson Sensation. Absolutely horrible strings, no feel, and I broke them in about 30 minutes.

Btw, I am a heavy topspin hitter, but how the heck can you break a set of strings in 30 minutes?

Probably not the crappiest strings, but full job of PSGD. Awful, feel for my taste, took it off the next day. Same with Babolat Ballistic Polymono, came strung with a demo I bought of TW and that just didn't feel right, tried to get used to it, but couldn't.

How long does a 50-55lbs poly take to become dead on average?

Please state play time (15 hrs etc) and non play time. (3 mths etc).

Would soft poly make a difference (xux superense, racquetfuel control etc) ?

pro's pro firecable - multifilament. frays and wears through in one practice session (about 2 hours of singles or three/four hours doubles). nice power but very little control.

actually found it pretty good for my squash racquet though !?!

My vote is for Kirshbaum Super Smash Spikey

No way! i love that stuff! Quite a few votes for PSGD, quite surprised about that.

My votes go to Wilson Enduro Gold and Luxilon Big Banger Original. I gave the Big Banger 5 chances at different tensions, it sucked every time.

PSGD.

Usually, with a string there is one thing that it does pretty well. But with PSGD, I struggle to find anything good to say about them

Prince problend- durability good and that's about all I can say that's positive.

Wilson Sensation 17g- Felt ok but I never had a set that lasted more than an hour .
