Re ESP vs. ITA, I think if Feli and Rafa don't win the doubles, Aresse will delete an "o" and substitute Ferrer for Ferrero.
I agree with you as well, now that you point it out.

Very good stuff in this italy/spain doubles, between Nadal/Lopez vs Braccia/Galimbe, they are in the 5th set with the italian team up a break 2-0 and serving.

Beck/Mertinak leading Nalbandian/Puerta 7-6 7-5 6-6

Ancic/Ljubicic def. Tursunov/Youzhny 6-2 4-6 7-6 3-6 6-4

Croats, especially Ljubicic, are playing like something else this year, aren't they? Are the Russians really affected without the presence of Safin?

Re Spain, assuming Nadal can win tomorrow, it will come down to the fifth rubber. Will Spain play Ferrero or Ferrer, or perhaps Lopez?

Wow this guy Seppi impresses me so much. Two days ago against Ferrero and now he's blasting winners against Nadal. I hope he can pull it off!

Nadal defeated Seppi 6-1, 6-1, 5-7, 6-4

Nadal suffered a lot in the 3rd and 4th sets. During the 3rd he totally went off phisically, and he looked exhausted until the end of the match. Seppi had an opportunity to take advantage from that, but in the 4th set he looked very tired too. So, when both were tired, Nadal's quality has been the decissive factor.

Seppi played well in the 3rd round: he was smart moving a burned off Nadal, and has a really nice forehand. If he hasn't been tired during the 4th set, he could have given Nadal serious trouble. But he lost his stamina, and between a burned Nadal and a burned Seppi there's obviously no contest.

Now Ferrero's gonna play. He's a fantastic player, but.. I don't have much confidence on his mental attitude at the present. Ferrer is more a fighter, and fight is much needed on Davis Cup. Let's see.

Wow! Spain in Zonal 1 - who'd thunk it possible?

OMG

This can't be happening (how do you say in English "Esto no puede estar pasando"?)

Roddick and Rochus didn't have a break point through the first two sets and now they've broken each other three times in the third set.

6-7 7-6 5-5

It sounds like a great match. Is it?

It's an entertaining match, but I've switched over to Bracciali - Ferrero.

Andy got the break in the fourth and got broken back to love by Rochus.

6-7 7-6 7-6 2-1

Olivier is putting up such a fantastic fight.

All the power and 29 aces from Roddick and Olivier is still fighting.

Nice job Berdych! Not sure anyone really expected him to beat Kiefer but good win for the Czech team.

Ferrero def. Bracciali 6-3, 6-0, 6-3

Huge superiority from Ferrero.

I feel obviously happy for the Spanish team (yes!), but specially for Ferrero, who has been able to make up the friday's bad choke. I think this will be good for Ferrero's self confidence.

Definetly. I now feel that he may just be the favorite to win in Palermo :)
