I do. It's an awesome bag and you should absolutely get one now.Man this looks so good. If i make vc95 my main, do i need to switch my bag? I do right? I heard if you match your racket to your bag you get automatic 0.5 ntrp boost.Yonex Pro Racquet 9 Pack Bag Black | Tennis Warehouse

This morning I returned the 97P and 360+ PP demo racquets that I had for 10 days. Didn't play more with the 97P but had two sessions with the PP. I really liked it, clearly more pop than the MP that I kind of regret selling. My only serious knock was that it felt like it only wanted to hit through the court and not so much upwards. I especially had trouble out wide on my forehand side, in situations where I was out of position and wanted to hit a loopy cross topspin ball. It just didn't wanna do it. Besides that, fantastic racquet. I could definitely play with it long term. No comfort problems at all during the demo.
It's been a few months since I last got a new racquet, so I decided to order a PT 2.0 this morning. Do I need one? No, but if I just pretend I do, it's fine.
I'm just really curious about that frame, need to try it. Anyone here tried it?
Ordered TK82S pallets as well because I'm not a fan of TK82.
Also just 10 days left before I can order the VCP97.
heck yes. do something crazy like buy a Q+15 ProI also entertained grabbing a PT 2.0 on the secondary market, for no other reason than occasional luxury joy. Alas, abstained. Wallet belongs to Lorenzo.

Pro Tour 2.0 is awesome. Does everything. Maybe just a bit lacking whippiness on serve for kick and slice, but that's the only issue I have with it.This morning I returned the 97P and 360+ PP demo racquets that I had for 10 days. Alright. It’s over.
Vcp97 perhapsTo put a button on the Gads PK Tourney, and the surprise title for the No. 3 seed Top Banana over the 1 (Doppio), I played again today and again, the backhand difference was just night and day for me. Also, some other moments of clarity:
- Consistently plowier, deeper hitting with the TB. And yes, it hits long on occasion, but no frame is perfect at every single thing, and I think I need to accept the occasional flier long in exchange for all that plow and better depth on most shots. When I miss with the Doppio, I miss into the net. And I'd rather miss long than into the net. The net dumpers are even worse. Not even giving yourself a chance there.
- Loving the buttery feel more and more. Especially now that I've found the perfect string match for it, for me: Black Knight 1.23. Just a godly combo here. Frame also flexes just a little bit, almost old-school like, and I like feeling that slight bend. Doppio stays much more firm. The little bit of flex and buttery pocketing of the Banana gives me a touch better feel for the ball, a touch more cradling of it. At the very start, as I was working my way through different strings, I felt like I couldn't feel the ball all that well here, couldn't feel it through the butter, but the longer you play with any frame, the more get comfy with it and get to know its exact quirks and feedback. Happening here.
- Already mentioned the backhand dominance here, this being the biggest differentiator. But also, or again I say, the SLICE. My god...
- The yellow. This really doesn't matter, in the end. But I do have to admit, I dig the banana yellow paintjob here. I just kinda want to grab the frame out of my bag more than the others. It's as if that old school yellow smiley face is peeking out at me when I arrive to the court and unzip my bag.
Anyway, this head to head and declaring a victor in every session, it's not a bad way to compare sticks. Because in every single session, you'll always find things you like and don't like about any frame, and can constantly go round and round thinking, "But this was so good here, and that was so good there." But when at the end of the day you try to just declare a victor, one over the other, well then it becomes more clear if those numbers begin piling up. And I've seen that after a 2-0 start by the Doppio, the Top Banana was the victor in six of these last seven sessions for the 6-3 win.
No frame is perfect, but this Banana is so freaking good. An XL with a manageable swingweight, and a more buttery feel and flex than the previous ones. When I first saw the stats come out on the new PKs, I thought the specs on this XL were the most intriguing - they made it softer, and whippier. Exactly what I would have asked for. Just a great frame, I think the best XL out there. And the new Gads PK Title Holder.
Next contender? ...
I really need to get the SW1I added 2.5 grams total lead on the VC95. Just lengthened the 3 and 9 lead basically so now it goes up to 2 and 10. Got the SW up to 322 and now this thing is singing. 6 pts HL, 335 with OG and 322 SW.
It really reminds me of a medium between the Doppio and Top Banana. I can hit epic backhands with it, but I also have really high consistency with the FH shot. It gives me the whip of the Doppio but the solid plow feeling of the Top B. Serves are very good.Volleys have gotten real stable now with the extra lead. I think this is the setup for me.
Meanwhile the VCP97 really has shown up on serve. It's a gem there and continues to goat at net. I am hitting stronger groundstrokes with it, but I still don't get the laser control and direct touch of the Vc95.
Vc95 continues to lead while the VC97 continues to thrill with it's fantastic flexy feel and stability on serve.
It’s very well thought out, designed and engineered. Highly recommend.I really need to get the SW1
VCP97 keeps hanging around. At this point I just need to figure out if I can control it off ground like I can with the VC95.
I have dialed in the serve and it's beastly there. Just feels great and you can feel the flex of the frame on clean struck shots. It's very addicting. Very very powerful on serves and the extra stability helps the frame stay square through contact and really pancake the ball.
These 2 Yonxes are some of the finest control offerings that I have ever owned. It's real tough to pick a favorite here, but I think the Vc95 still is leading. It just keeps getting tighter.
The 2018 VC95 shows up Tuesday and that could be the perfect happy medium between the 2 frames. Weather is so incredible here that I have exercised 8 straight days now and have some hiking tomorrow. I think I will take a complete break Tuesday and then hit the courts again Wednesday to see how this 2018 VC95 works its way into the mix.
2018 is a good one. You’ll dig it. Feel is slightly better, I think, but I’m not sure if it hits a better ball or not than the 21. Would have needed to play them side by side and with the same string to know.
I second how amazing the 2018 felt to me. The only reason I didn’t go to this frame from the SV95 and went to the UT was..well, not sure actually. It hit a great ball all around for me.2018 is a good one. You’ll dig it. Feel is slightly better, I think, but I’m not sure if it hits a better ball or not than the 21. It was special. Between watching the first match against Tsitsipas and the one yesterday it felt like watching the birth of a star.
Gees, you have been busy mate. I think it is great to know when to let things go, to make room for better things. With VC#3 sold, now it's time to track down another VC95. If anyone happens across something, let me know.
It could be my match synthesis from the same day ! Same score same opponent ! I almost quit tennis that day !Last night I played against the guy who hits lots of annoying chip shots and most everything has back spin on it. He beat me 6-2 7-5. Even though he has the worst form and everything than anyone else I play, he gives me the most trouble. I did figure something out in the 2nd half of that 2nd set. I usually stand right behind the baseline during most of my rallies as that's what usually works best for me. With him I started standing a few feet inside the baseline. This seemed to help quite a bit. I can't be sure if that was it or the fact that he was getting worn down. Even though he was winning he was still having to run all over the court to earn those points.
Something else I learned last night is that I can't hit my OHBH with the 360+ PMP. I may have already known this but it really dawned on me last night. I can hit it with my UT but something about the angle it comes off the PMP makes it nearly impossible for me to get that OHBH over the net and to dip back down. It hits the most wicked BH slice though.
Once I hit with the VCore, there was no way I could stay with the EZone. And I'm still perfectly happy with the VC100. But there is something really special about this particular 95 and I am vibing with it. So it comes down to a battle between the 100 and the 95 that has to be done.Gees, you have been busy mate. Used but 8.5/10 or better. Has to be the 2021 version.are you looking for new or used?
Sorry, but what ProKennex models are you all referring to with these nicknames? I searched, but I’m still lost.
also, random thought. If ProKennex released an extended version of the BlackAce Pro, it would probably be the closest thing to Rios old extended RD7

Doppio: previous two paintjobs (black/yellow, and black/copper) of the Q+5 Pro.
Top Banana: Q+5X Pro (extended version of the current banana colored version).
Banana: Q+5 Pro.
Banana Lite: Q+5.
Espresso: previous two paintjobs of the QTour 300 and 315.
Limoncello: current QTour 300 and 315, green paintjob.
Black Ace Pro: Black Ace Pro.
Is there any difference aside from paint on the 2017 or 2019 Doppio?
Thanks!@CountMonte
No, no difference in 2017 and 19 Doppio, just the paint.
Thanks!
I’ve been on an extended racket quest myself after moving on from the Pure Aero due to recurring TE.
I started with Vcore 100 (which I loved), then Regna 100 (too underpowered), Regna 98 (nice honeymoon) which led to experimenting with heavier rackets such as RF97A, then pleeners, including new VCore Pro 100. But the clear winner is the Top Banana. I keep coming back to it and now I think I’ve settled on it. 16x20, easy to wield, the plow, the depth. Thanks to you otherwise I would never have thought to try it!
I used Pure Aero (and all previous versions) for over 12 years. Had TE on and off. Also used problend for strings so that didn’t help. But yes, the current version is great to use but one mistake with technique can cause harm. That's awesome, man. It was the current Pure Aero giving you the TE?
The Top Banana is so good. There's nothing it can't do. If you haven't already, I would suggest trying Black Knight in there at some point. Great fit for the frame.

The TB is just so rewarding, I feel like I can do anything and not miss. I’ve got Tour Bite @ 53 but keen to try BK too.
I don’t play with Prokennex but I really like TB or HG crossed with ghostwire in my racquetsI took advantage of the Tier One Labor Day sale and have Firewire and Ghostwire incoming. This is the next string trial in the Banana Lite. Let's see if I like it better than HGS.
Purchased some from @J011yroger a while back and actually just strung up a set of it yesterday for a hit after a long hiatus. Rained out today otherwise would have some feedback for you. I have played with it in the past, just drawing a blank on it's characteristics since it's been a while. I know it was decent otherwise I wouldn't have put it in.Has anyone else in here used or experimented with Isospeed Grey Fire? I've got a few sets incoming and was going to try it out with BK.

Black Knight is a great overall string, nothing bad to say about it. I think it was @topspn whose feedback in the Angell thread made me try it out initially. Absolutely shines in the TC100.
Good to see all the usual suspects here!
anybody ever sell a racquet, then see one on sale and re-buy the same thing?
me neitherNo.
