Well, it's official. I think this may be slam #3 for Djokovic this year but hoping for Rafa to pull out the win. So for the 6th time this year, I shall be cheering for the Vamossinator.

Djokovic will win in 3 or 4 sets. Nadal will need to start beating Djokovic on clay before he can even start thinking of beating him on something like a fast hard court again.

It all depends on how Rafa can control his nerves tomorrow. Novak has def gotten into his head so its going to be interesting to see if Rafa is up for the challenge.
Nole in 4. Nadal dipped at times against Murray, but Murray's mental lapses on big points allowed Nadal to stay in charge. Djokovic won't give him that - in fact it's more likely to be the other way round.
Much depends on how tired or jaded Djokovic is after a long season, and how pumped Nadal is for it. But of course, Nadal ended up flying past Murray at Wimbledon while Djokovic looked a bit vulnerable on his route to the final ... And we all know what happened there.

I fully expect Djokovic to roll through Nadal in straight sets; Nadal might be able to achieve a reversal of last year's final with a 4-set loss, but I do not give Nadal a chance at winning the tournament at all. Federer was the only one capable of stopping Djokovic, and he screwed up in fantastic fashion after not only being 2 sets up, but also having 2 match points on his own serve--then proceeding to get broken twice to practically hand Djokovic the win. Whatever. I'm mostly over it now. GG Cockyvic. /rant

I won't be watching this because it's on a work-day on Monday. Anyway, I agree with comments here that Nadal's best chance was to beat Djoko was on grass. He'll need a lot of improvement to bother Djoko here. Fed had a better shot based on the penetration he gets through the surface.
Hopefully Nadal can put up a good fight, unlike Wimb Final and the clay court finals, coz a blowout would be debilitating for their future matches.
Anyway, I have nothing against Djoko too. He's having IMO the greatest season in tennis history. He was lucky against Fed, but then you need some..

Djokovic is riding on major confidence now, boosted considerably by the Federer win today. Now he knows he's the best player walking the earth and the Monday final is simply another chance to prove it. Nadal isn't just fighting Djokovic, he'll be fighting his own emotions when he sees Djokovic consistently putting balls back into play and daring Nadal repeatedly to come up with one great shot after another.

Ok,you really think he has a chance to beat Cvac after having his a** whipped by him 5 times straight on 3 different surfaces? It's nothing but wishful thinking to believe Nadal will even take a single set much less the match. His backhand is nothing but a lollipop shot he just pushes back over the net short,his serve is hilariously bad with zero pop on it,and mentally he is screwed when he plays Cvac. Nadal has to win sometime and he's playing very well, so i think he might do it, also cos it would be crazy if novak loses at the us open again and loses to nadal on hardcourt when he's beaten him so easily on clay and grass and nadal defending a non clay title for the first time at the us open. But if Novak plays his best he should win..

Djoker in 4. Nadal has admitted that he lost the Wimbledon final because mentally he was done against the Djoker. I see no reason that has changed.
