i wear the under armor brief thingys. so i dont have to wear underwear, plus the UA thingy allows me to strech more and there is nothing holding me back. it honestly feels like i'm running around naked.

Yes, most pros wear some type of underwear while playing. You can see right through Nadal's capris. He often wears dark colored bikini briefs which he often plucks from between his buttocks.

I wear compression shorts and they are awesome!!! They are stretchy which makes them very comfortable.
These are compression shorts. I want to get one of these but they are way to expensive.

Watching the Federer/Haas match now I can easily see both men wearing bikini briefs under their thin white shorts. I think the majority of the pros do wear underwear.

Enlighten me on this one, exactly which muscles are strengthened by not wearing underwear? Never heard that one in my sportsmedicine experience.
I am going to say yes, most (if not all) pros wear underwear and there is plenty of photo evidence to support that (just about every series of player shots at Getty includes one obvious shot of either visible lines, a visible waistband, or the dreaded black/blue underwear under white shorts sin).
If you are a non-black man wearing white shorts, wear grey underneath and you should be okay. Black and blue are far too obvious, and women on some boards love to point this out and giggle about it.
If you can't afford compression shorts, buy a decent pair of plain old bike shorts (Target, Mervyn's wherever) and wear those instead. They won't 'wick' the sweat away, but the will breathe (I wear them under my skirts because I have a large rear-end and bloomers just can't contain it!)

I would disagree, as I've seen underwear lines on the women pro tennis players. I've also inspected such skimpy skirts and dresses and haven't seen any built in underwear, although I've seen built-in shorts. I am a huge fan of redundancy in the event of wardrobe mishaps (and women's troubles AKA the crimson tide) and would think that for added security these women pro players wear underwear beneath those skimpies.MegacedU said:
