Sure there are others out there and pretty sure he has no arm issues
I think Millman and Brown are the last guys hitting 70 lbs.

- Luxilon 4g in 15 gauge, stiffest and thickest string ever measured
Wonder how this would work on a Low Tension Experiment say at 20-25 lbs on a medium stiffness racquet.
How about this awesome string Gear synthetic gut LOL
-any warehouse store where they sell weedwacker string should have itCool.. where do I get some..

-i considered it for laughs myself ,(weedwacker string) but never went through with itI strung up some weedwacker line in a frame for a joke one time... guess what it played ok...
Yes... Dustin Brown. Nice work. Had a brain fart and could not come up with his name.
Andy Roddick also strung poly at 70lbs.
Good Memory.. and Jack Sock plays full poly at 30 lbs.. The pros have to make a living playing tennis (not like us..LOL) .. thus they do what allows them to win as much as possible to make as much cash as possible and get as many ATP / WTA points as possible. One wonders what Andy might use if the was a young pro right now. The polys are so much better than they were in his days. He was a Pro Hurricane user if memory serves. I hated that string. Never saw why players liked it.

When you change to a new string job every half hour it’s completely different than what us amateurs use, like using poly for many days or weeks. There is no comparison because even a string that doesn’t last very long can play good when fresh. For years Rafa used a first generation poly I forget the name but to me it felt really dead and crappy, but he won many majors with this string.
I hear so many talk about this pro only strings at 54lbs. Yes and again he uses that string for a very short time so when rec players think they are using the same tension as a pro they are correct for the first half hour or so but after that it’s not even close to the same especially as long as most guys use poly.

This almost seems like a list of least popular strings. There are plenty of strings out there that are over priced, flawed in design or have undesirable characteristics.
a strange string that comes of mind is Dunlop hexy Fiber. It was a weird shaped multifilament string. Stretched liked crazy and the shape ended smoothing out after it was tensioned.

What do others say about gamma glide? Cool idea. Never tried
You havent played tennis till you played with a wilson profile 2.7 strung with kevlar poly at 86lbs…hyper carbon prostaffs are noodlesYou should get one of those hyper pro staff carbon frames with stiffness in the high 70's. They have a small cult following.
I string a racquet for a guy who uses this, he buys combo packs that come with a gamma black poly for the crosses. A net rushing aggressive slicer, hard junker. He swears by it, though it breaks more than poly.
The stuff is super stretchy, even more than gut or multi. I cant compare its feel when stringing to anything else.
No that's an error on my part. I think I'm so wired to the mains usually being the star of the show that I mistyped. Thanks for noticing.-is that correct??!
-using the gamma.moto (black shaped poly) for the crosses !?!?!
-and using the gamma.GLYDE (clear round string) for the mains??!
-could be interesting i guess, but im not so sure about it
-i string this all the time for people, but we do it reverse
I was going to mention Gamma Jet. Been using it in my Burn 100S for almost 2 years now. Maybe the string pattern lends itself to the string. I haven't really tried it in other rackets. It's so cheap.-Gamma.JET is a weird poly
-not very arm friendly either
-only good thing i see is the color, deep BLUE almost purple

-here you go@1HBHfanatic - hey I was doing a search and found where you said you had detailed your thoughts about Pro's Pro multis. I couldn't find it, which Pro's Pro multi do you like the best and what is it close to mainstream-wise?
Cool!!

-sooo, how did it play?
It was a bit soft for me especially after it started notching. I could see people liking it. I put it in a yonex at normal tensions and the normal people liked it.-sooo, how did it play?

kev/4g as tight as the stringer can do which in my case, the machine tops out at 86lbsWhat is your ideal setup?
The Mighty Babolat Sensor is the ultimate technology in 90's Constant Pull!!!!!!Lo or cp? Technically i can get my lo out of storage and do 90lbs
tempting just to see you do it. Most stringers wont string a stick that highThe Mighty Babolat Sensor is the ultimate technology in 90's Constant Pull!!!!!!
The first twenty times I flinched a bit. As I've noted before (earlier in this thread no less), there was a WTA pro who's played here a few times. I strung her frames at 86 with Lux ALU, either 1.25 or 1.38 depending on whether it was a live match or practice. To satisfy her feel, I actually had to let the Wise pull 86 and then let it sit for a count of 5. I learned that at 86 pounds, the pre-stretch function doesn't work. 86 is appears is an absolute limit on the Wise. I have no idea if the Mighty Sensor will add a pre-stretch at 88 pounds...tempting just to see you do it. Most stringers wont string a stick that high
