Federer : WTF is the absolute best of the best tournament out there

also you can call masters exho's as well. the top players do not put their all everytime to win a masters. sometimes they tank in order to prepare for bugger tournaments.

for ex: how come murray and djokovic tanked at paris if the masters are so well abovve the WTF?

So funny to read that Nadal 'fans' pretend they don't care, because Nadal will have an early exit as usual. Every lousy Nadal fan will claim they don't care because the tournament isn't important, like always!!! LOLLLLLLLLL.

...and you promised to leave this board forever if Nadal won another non-clay major.

Remember:

I already said that I will never return on this forum if Nadal wins a slam outside RG. On top of this, if Nadal wins this US Open, I will litterally eat my own ****

Difficult to honor your promise?

Best of 5 is arguably easier than best of 3. In best of 5 you have time to warm and find your rhyme, best of 3 you need to be at your best right off the bat ;)

The fact is no one has had so many walkovers in a slam win and no one has even made a final of the WTF losing 2 matches in the RR. So it's irrelevent until it happens. No other tournament forces you to play your first match against a top 8 player or potentially top 4 player.

It's the roughest draw possible. The idea of the round robin format is to find the best 4 players of the top 8 by pitting them against only other top 8 players. You need to prove yourself against the toughest competition. Odd that you don't respect that after all your weak era crap.

I can't wait dor the WTF to start, I don't like Murray nor his annoying mum, but I hope he will be fit 3,5 weeks from now and play this amazing tournament.

Depending on Feds rating, I think it's possible there will be a 'group of death' with Nadal (or Djokovic if he's back on the number one spot), murray and Federer compete against each otherin round Robin. That would be amazing!! Can't wait!!!!!

Hmm.. Yea probably cause thats where he is at his best tennis wise.

The YEC isn't nearly the best out there. Especially these days when top players (generally over the past 7-8 years) aside from Federer and Agassi during his final days, take the YEC Off focus and level wise. Nadal went hard for the YEC maybe once or twice, I don't think Murray has EVER gone hard for it, Nole did last year.. But overall the WTF has been a tournament the top players just show up for for a payday and get ready for the AO.

It USED to be tournament with prestige that top guys went for but not in the past 10 years or so. Hell Ive seen more scrub alternates play that tournament (Stepenak and company) then I saw before that

You need to come up with evidence that Players aren't putting in their best effort in this event. I haven't seen any evidence of that....all I have seen is the opposite of that.

Also alternates have been rare indeed in the last 10 years. And when they have been included you could hardly call the number 9 or 10 player in the world a 'scrub'.

2011 - Tipsarević

You mentioned Stepenak - who else in the last 10 years?

He's saying it's the most elite tournament because only the very top ranked players contest it.

they throw a lot of money at these players. big names like nadal and fed get massive appearance fees under the table also.

so of course players will say great things about this event.

All that matters is slams...the rest is just entertainment .

The whole sport is just for entertainment. It has no other meaning. If no one watched the sport, none of this would matter. The WTF is a prestigious tournament, players play year round to qualify for!

Exactly, which is why that post of the dark troll is probably the dumbest post in history of dumb posts.

By pretending he doesn't care about the WTF he tries to make Nadal look better. It's a shame he's to ignorant to see that everybody knows exactly what's he's doing here. Guess it's the age though so you really can't blame him.

I wish it was a sticky thread, because some haters will think twice before making foolish comments without being aware of the fact. Since it will not be a sticky thread, I will repost once in awhile to keep them in check.

I love it !!!!

That's what I would have expected from a 13 year old fanboy. For your information; the humping moves he makes, that's how people make babies (you will find out some day at school or when when your parents give you a certain book). For now, all you need to know is that it doesn't belong on a tennis court.

Wouldn't have seen it if you weren't watching a player that you hate so much.

Televisions and computers or whatever outlet people choose to keep up with tennis, doesn't come with straitjackets and electric chairs.

You're not forced to watch anyone, so to ease your own pain, you shouldn't watch.

Or, if you choose to watch, then don't complain, because you made a voluntary decision of your volition.

Why complain to others over a willful decision that you made?

No .....I like a rebel. My favorite all time players are Connors , Mcenroe ,Safin.....

I respect all players ; however the depressed mannerisms of a Sampras for example is just not my style.

This is what made the Borg Mcenroe rivalry so great and the Nadal Federer rivalry so great. The clash of styles both in play and in personal style.

Why can't you appreciate both? Why do you have to hate ?

If there is a up there must be a down , a Ying a Yang, a front and a back ...... And a Federer and Nadal......

It's natural and the two together is poetry in motion .

Nadal is no rebel, he is a p.ervert Not only due to the above clip, but also due to the fact that he constantly picks his *** and willy. It's disgusting. I also like Safin, McEnroe and Connors, but they are not remotely the same as Nadal.
