Federer's Top 10 "Forehand Exos"

Well, his best is undeniably the USO 2004 final vs. Hewitt. I would say that second place belongs to the Hamburg 2004 SF vs. Hewitt. I'm struggling to find some other memorable ones though, ones that truly stood out from the others.

1. USO 2004 F vs. Hewitt
2. Hamburg 2004 SF vs. Hewitt

I consider these matches some of his very best in terms of what he was able to do with the forehand:

Wimbledon 2003: SF vs. Roddick, F vs. Philippoussis
YEC 2003: F vs. Agassi
Wimbledon 2004: QF vs. Hewitt
YEC 2004: F vs. Hewitt
Wimbledon 2005: F vs. Roddick
Rome 2006: F vs. Nadal
Wimbledon 2006: 4R vs. Berdych, QF vs. Ancic, and F vs. Nadal
USO 2006: F vs. Roddick

Maybe there is something from 2007 or 2008 that I am also forgetting... I'm not sure which ones I would select out of these or if I forgot any other great ones that were as good or better than the ones I mentioned.

not mentioned in this thread so far :

1. USO 2005 F vs Agassi
2. Hamburg 2002 F vs Safin
3. RG 2009 F vs Soderling - went FH to FH vs Soderling and rushed him considerably.

4. YEC 2010 SF vs djokovic :

So basically, just from the FH (not the FH wing), federer hit 16 winners, forced 6 errors from djoko's fh wing, 3 errors from djoko's bh wing and had only 4 UEs.

25 winners+errors forced to 4 UEs. That's a ridiculous stat.
Probably his best FH performance after his peak years.
Hell, this was definitely a peak performance.

5. USO 2006 SF vs davy
25 winners+errors forced to 8 UEs.

Were they top 10 though? I'm not sure about that.

His fh declined when he was 6 years younger than Nadal and Djokovic today. We have to be realist.

If you truly believe Nadal's FH and Djokovic's BH especially BHDTL are anywhere near what they were at their best , specifically 2010 (That USO) for Rafa and 2011 for Djokovic (Those Rafa beatdowns) then I truly don't know what you have watched.
