He was awesome. He looks to be in good form here. The most impressive thing was the way he didn't seem bothered by the heat at all. No ice pack, no hat... he even won the first set.

Good match so far, as expected the contrast of serve and volley against classic counterpuncher is making for some good points. Guccione needs to make it a point to come in on Simon's serve though.

Mainly his forehand has held him back, but he's improving it - as soon as it can become a decent rally shot or something he can approach on he'll begin his climb in the rankings. If he can pull this off the confidence will also aide him of course, 'til then come on Gooch!
