C chill bro, this thread is about a 14 year old female deja. this coach Tom also is also training a 14 year old female and does not allow her in tournaments, even at 14, he and TCF have alot in common, yet he just updated his website with this mini tennis theory. want me to start another thread about, I thought this is the best place since we have already been discussing how he is training Emira

now you guys might be right but you dont know it all all the girls you mention trained in florida dont forget the girls 16 easter bowl winner Caroline Doyle is from San fransico and all the girls dont have to win those to be the next Ive seen Vick and I love her game and Gabby consistant but not a top pro maybe college But none of the hit harder than Simmons and I mean none of them, Simmons and Doyle Started together at the same academy and I heard Simmons is Training in Arizona at ITUSA with Meagan Shaughnessy. But iam just saying i watched Deja play it wanst very good but she won but as a child respect the game she will never be a top jr or a great pro she will be the next Dewonder Davis or Mili Dido but give her a A for effort and it seems like you guys just hate the parents thats ok or give them a call or go tell them in person

Like I said sir, there are no short cuts. You can not wish and hype your way to the top. The girls who are out there playing the top girls and big tournaments are the ones deserving of recognition.

IF any of these internet prodigies ever win anything real, we will give them their due credit.

I think we applaud all the girls for their hard work and dedication and wish them all the best. As far as having my USPTA card removed I think I've said all the girls have nice strokes. When the kids don't play against each other we have to look at their results and if they back up what we see then awesome. What's really funny is how some rip the top girls as pushers, but those girls actually have real results. As usual any time someone gives a little constructive advice they are considered "haters". TCF may agree with me on this but I really do not recall if there is any top50 player that did not thoroughly dominate as a junior on the ladies side.

I agree. At some point they have to show results no matter what the videos look like. Videos on the internet are marketing, period. Notice how they all edit the bad stuff out. Nobody wants to post bad video. Heck, I can compile the top 20 shots from when my son was 7 and make him look like a pro on video. Anyone can do that.

She beat Sharapova's cousin and Bob McAdoo's daughter in her last 2 tournies.

No, she is a plodding player. When I first saw her play I thought she had no shot at the pros because of her movement. But her anticipation and point construction are top notch and seem to make up for a lot.

^^^ Fair enough! Lyndsey D didn't have the best movement on tour (or even close to it!), but get a big enough first strike in, especially in the womens game and you're halfway to winning!

Of course she could flat line in the pros. But as far as a junior player, she is doing great.

Jordan had the best coach in NBA history and a top 50 player in Pippen, and needed to push off on 2 series winning shots. If you breathed on Jordan they called a foul. The classic dunk on Ewing was hilarious....he dribbled around Oakley and Ewing 2 times each, no one touched him as they were scared of getting another foul. Johnson had a team of all stars to pass too. Bird had 2 other hall of famers to play with. LeBron had to go find his co stars like those guys were handed....because he was stuck with an incompetent GM. And the Cavs owner is a thief and a loan shark.

I ignore the haters. I see a man play killer defense every night, rebound, get assists, score, have a high motor to play many minutes. I could care less if the rest of the US hates him or not. Too many sheep will hate what the media tells them to hate....yawn.

I saw the video and matched it with her tournament, and that match was in a challenger match, and if you dont know thats the next step up from novice she was suppose to double bagle those girls but she had a hard time I just want her to do good but she is struggling in the top tourneys she needs a real coach her dad is letting her down he is very unauthordoxed with his warm up drills he was in her ear telling her your toss is 3degrees off to the left or you need to put it at 35 degress thats to much thinking I thought that was weird.

Well BTF, I think it will be almost impossible for a coach to be able to help her if her father is so involved. Judging from the video he is in charge of stroke technique and development. Serve is his idea and same with BH. Tough to be making wholesale changes at 15 years old. I did check out website and he seems to be very proud of the 1 million views of her videos.

Yeah, sheesh! I remember when I was younger my dad was my soccer coach. Once every couple weeks we would go out and play just the two of us and he would give me pointers only when extremely needed and I remember getting very frustrated with him. I can't imagine having a dad breathing down my neck at every second of every day for years.

I read the bio on the website and it says that the parents decided at birth their daughter would be a pro tennis player. There are a lot of kids out there without parents who dream of having someone care about them and spend as much time with them as these parents do with their daughter, but we can only guess what she would have chosen to do had she been given the choice to make her own decisions. I can't say I know them personally so maybe she has, but given the way the site description was written I would guess otherwise. Hopefully someday if she wants to be a surgeon or a piano player they will give her that right. The fact that they had to cut clips in the end of that video to make it say "I want to be..The best tennis player in the world" makes me wonder what's really going on.
