I'll keep my fingers crossed for the courts, hope you get out to play soon. It was so good to be outside hitting balls. Whilst not perfect conditions you learn to play them which helps you in matches against players who avoid such weather. Very good for your footwork to as you have to adjust quickly to a few random balls and improvise some shot making. My squash shot wide forehand was useful when the wing blew it wide on the fh side and the slice equally so on the BH side. Serves were a joke so we played some hand fed stuff.
You seem to be a delicate thing. Do sloppy golfers, bowlers, pool players, ice skaters, and so on also induce a similar feeling?
First time getting a ball kicked back to our court after an angled volley. Of course let it roll onto the next court. Why **** off just four guys with a double or nothing move? KaChing!!!!!!!!
Posted before, could not convince anyone to play on clay outdoors when they paid for an indoor hardcourt.
What I would give to have clay courts to be as prevalent and popular as hard courts in the USA...

Chickasaw Park are public courts. Have several clubs with three, four, or five clay courts. Nightmare trying to access them with soooooooooooooooooooooooo many boomers.
I’d love to visit a clay court before I die, and I’m not planning on going to Europe to fulfill that dream lol. I just wish they more clubs knew a little about the friction or courts but what can they do? They aren’t exactly court experts like somebody from the US open is about the speed and friction of the courts.

I'm lucky enough to have 3 clay at my club. They are high maintenance but worth every second if you're a baseline grinder.
