Jay Cee Method and stringway triple clamp

Hello stringway double / triple clamp owners,

Do you always apply the Jay Cee Method when using the Stringway double / triple clamps? The reason I ask is that I want to know what is the best use of these Stringway clamps.

I don't use them because I have fixed clamps but no there is no need to use the JayCee method. The clamps are handy for clamping those strings that are separated widely, usually the last few crosses or to clamp 3 strings to minimize string drawback. You just adjust the clamp to use all three teeth or just the two outside teeth.

Is the triple clamp very bulky? The original gamma clamp is a little too big when working on the first or last cross on a 18x20 pattern. I don't know if the triple clamp can fit in that tight space ok.
