More to the French than Fed/Nadal

I want to see Fed and Nadal play in the Roland Garros final as much as anyone. But, they shouldn't look ahead to the final. Seems a lot of players are stepping up their game: Djokovic, Hewitt, Moya, Davydenko, Ferrer just to name a few. Gonzalez is still dangerous even though Nadal has beaten him twice in a row. Dangerous floaters too, such as Canas, Amalgro

Just food for thought.

Should be a great tournament.

By the way, my take on Fed/Nadal at the German Open is that Nadal was really tired, but it doesn't matter. It's still a huge boost mentally for Fed. Although, it takes a little bit off pressure off Nadal and he'll have even more motivation for defending.

I think Nadal is still the better clay courter and I'd put my money on him Roland Garros five sets. But, Fed can definitely win it. All of the Nadal fans are saying how bad he played, and he really didn't play that good. But, it's not like Fed was absolutely on top of his game everytime he lost to Nadal on clay.

Can't wait.

Other players have a chance, but for only ONE of the final spots. The other will be taken by Nadal, no doubt about it.

Maybe Nadal was tired but the bottom line is that he loss!!!!!He didnt exactly look tired in that first set.

Well, bottom line is he hit as many winners off the ground in the first set as he did in the last set. So the "tired excuse" is BS. Fed steped up his game, and Nadal had no answer>>> period.

And yes, This years French Open should be interesting. Both Nadal and Fed have had their slips this year, which has to give the rest of the field confidnce they didn't have before.
