No shame in losing to better players
I remember around 2013 Murray got more into fitness and weights and became more of a grinder baseliner.,,..Maybe this lead to his current situation...
.Before that i remember a skinnier Murray; more aggressive with a better serve..
Nah. He was getting beaten to a pulp by Stan before he started whinging about bring hurt.Nadal would have lost that match to literally any player in the top 30 that day. He was playing with one leg and, IIRC, didn't Djokovic withdraw from the next tournament injured too?
I've never liked Murray. I've never liked him on the court. I've never liked him off the court. I've never liked Andy Murray. And, frankly, I couldn't care less that he's retiring because I've hardly noticed his absences.

Still a great ATG career from our Muzziah.
No, Djokovic lost to Fed in Dubai
It is not disgraceful to fight and not surrender over their own troubles!Novak Djokovic was disgraceful in that 2015 final.
What if this AO all the players withdrew and allowed Murray to win the AO 2019.
Great farewell gift.
You know him 'off the court' ?
You're Federer and Del Potro, not Andy MurrayHey, it's me, Andy Murray.
I don't know the guy, no.

Djoker was struck by the momentary weakness he had managed to overcome with help the energy drinks, Amanovic had given him.The dude was faking injury/exhaustion.
I really think Murray's bulk may have contributed to his injuries. Before Nadal and Djoker, the only top player with a muscular physique was Vilas and he played mostly on clay, so that minimized the impact on his body.I remember around 2013 Murray got more into fitness and weights and became more of a grinder baseliner.,,..Maybe this lead to his current situation...

i agree with this..I think Murray went too overboard with weights..He used to flex his biceps to show off..Can you imagine Fed or Djoko flexing their skinny biceps? Weights are grossly overrated for tennis..The same thing happened to Agassi and he lived in pain...But i feel sorry for MurrayI really think Murray's bulk may have contributed to his injuries. Tennis players all used to be skinny with lithe bodies:
I'm sorry to admit that I have done a terrible job of keeping track on how I'm doing in the hypothetical organ betting/selling business. All withdraw except Berdych. Berdych Murray final for all the marbles.
Our resident @Red Rick would sell his 40th kidney if Berdych won, but it's a risk we must be willing to take.
There’s not something called justice. In tennis, and in life.5 Australian Open finals. 0 AO titles.
4 losses to Djokovic, 1 loss to Federer. Basically lost every time to the AO GOATs.
Felt he had a great chance in AO17 - was World Number 1 at the time and Djokovic suffered an upset 2 rounds earlier.
Felt that he had to eventually get 1 AO title but it was not meant to be (pending AO19).
On a positive note - glad he got to No. 1 (and got YE No. 1) during his career.
It's not quite smart to talk to Benny that way, he could be waiting for you at the train station in the middle of the night and ask you a famous question "Hey, remember me?".Settle down, Benny.

Better than the dweby guy beside him Borg could pull it off Like ABBA didLol
Look at metrosexual Borg
Its a well put together outfit. Love the shorts and all. but an open shirt like that is too much.
So swedish
Beaten to a pulp you usually don't win a set, more specifically, the way Nadal took out Fred in the SF beforehand.

Yeah, as long as he keeps the receipt! What if this AO all the players withdrew and allowed Murray to win the AO 2019.

This is how Carlito should've responded.

Ah, I guess it was tough for him since he doesn't remember when was the list time he blew his nose.lol Indeed. A little respect goes a long way. Could have been a beautiful friendship with them. That piano rocking at the end.
Don't be such a bitter troll. All time greats don't tank Grand slam championship matches simply because they are getting manhandled. The way he was hopping around was sad to see. Rafa had never lost a set to him before as well. 20,000 dumbass Australians, glad to see you in the same one of mentality. Try playing a sport not spewing hate from the basement at Nadal or KobeHe hasn't won a set, Of course, when he cried about an injury and took a medical timeout to stop Stan's momentum. There's a reason 20,000 people were booing him. It's because 20,000 people were convinced it was another display of unsportsmanship by your hero.
