in 17 Nadal was in final but Djokovic had gone on leave.

It's hard to beat somebody in 3 consecutive years at other Slams when you don't even play them for three consecutive years. I think they played twice in a row at the USO but that's the closest they got.

Nadal defeated Federer 6 consecutive Grand Slam matches on the 3 surfaces (RG 2008, WB 2008, AO 2009, RG 2011, AO 2012, AO 2014). Djokovic never defeated Federer 6 Grand Slam matches in a row.

Nadal also defeated Djokovic 4 consecutive Grand Slam matches (RG 2012, RG 2013, USO 2013, RG 2014). Djokovic never defeated Nadal in 4 consecutive Grand Slam matches.

Djokovic had a chance to do it in other surfaces but he failed, cause he has never been so dominant on hard as Nadal on clay.

In effect, Djokovic played 3 USO finals against Nadal. Nadal leads the H2H over Djokovic 2-1 at the US Open.

Can you imagine Nadal having a losing H2H against Djokovic at RG?

Djokovic only has the highest peak at the AO. At Wimbledon is debatable, and at the USO he has a losing H2H against Nadal so even more debatable.

Nadal and Djokovic started facing each other in 2006. It is cherry-picking stats to only consider 2014-onwards matches. That's like considering only matches pre-2008 to suit my agenda. Or I can also say that Nadal is 3-0 against Djokovic on clay since 2017. All H2H matches of the entire career count.

Incorrect. How can he have a chance to do it if Nadal doesn't make it to him? By the way, it is Djokovic with the Open Era record of making 3 consecutive finals at all 4 Slams: 2011-2013 AO, 2012-2015 RG, 2013-2015 Wimbledon, 2010-2013 USO. So the opportunities were there for Nadal but he is the one that failed to make it.

Yes for 25th time, Nadal does.lead him at the USO but the last meeting was 6 years ago. They both have won it twice since then with no meetings.

Can you imagine Djokovic having a losing head to head against Nadal at AO?

Actually that was very close to being the truth. Nadal was close in 2012, and if we assume everything would go the same way that would give him the lead at least until 2019.

This is more impressive than the OP. He has the longest GS win streak against both of Fedovic, both streaks involving all 3 surfaces (see edit).

Edit: I just realized. Hasn't Rafa beaten Novak in 5 consecutive GS matches across all 3 surfaces? RG 2006, RG 2007, W 2007, RG 2008, USO 2010.

That's on clay, which is a very different kind of surface. Maybe you should do a stat on hardcourt or grass to get a more meaningful picture.
