I don’t think so. Nadal might win but I don’t think he would lay a beatdown on Novak. I think it would be very close if it’s the final.

Could this happen to Djokovic? Well, first of all, I don‘t see Djokovic as a favorite if they meet in the final (he will never be a faborite against Nadal at RG). I just want to see the clash of the titans Beating Rafa IN THE FINAL of Roland Garros is probably the hardest thing you can do in tennis. Nobody ever did that, so let’s wait and see what happens. The QF and SF matches will be extremely tough for both of them.

Best thing for Nadal is Djokovic in the final. Nadal will be less focussed on 20 as he will want to beat a career rival and perhaps shut him up a bit for saying he is beatable. Nadal is always better if a match is a grudge match. He never loses them.
If Nadal gets a Rublev or tsitsipas in the final everyone will have him down as a lock to win and that pressure when going for 20 will likely cause him to get too nervous.
Rome 2019 will be a useful last meeting on clay to have in the bank.

Why people thought it would be a close match, is still beyond me, sir.
With all due respect to Djokovic, he doesn't possess the physical strength and firepower to hit through a decent nadal in a BO5 clay match. The heavy conditions didn't help his cause either, if anything, they made his lack of firepower look even more glaring than it actually is.
