For those calling for women to play 5, how are you going to get a days' worth of matches in? The first 2 rounds could take a long time to play. Throw in some rain.... not practical.

Sorry, the number of sets is a strawman. It's the overall product that the men put out that should mean they receive more of the revenue.

This. How many hours have been wasted because when awaiting an ATP match a WTA match was taking ages to finish? Imagine waiting another hour or 2, then. No, thanks.

I guarantee none of these women actually feel personally offended by this whole thing. Most likely if they decide to boycott this event, they're just taking advantage of the situation to opt out of a tournament or just to create a fuss for attention. Makes no difference to me because the only women's match I watch is usually the final.
