Novak Djokovic didn't have many chances to Win RG

Rafa did not give many chances to ANYONE. It was his realm.
So epic :D

If the argument is he only had a chance to win if Rafa wasn't there fully fit and vaguely in form then we can apply that to other players at other slams who we keep being told simply weren't good enough.

Odds mean little when it comes down to Nadal at RG. He could very well come unprepared and win the whole thing without dropping a set.

Odds anyways are made by form until RG if they are pre tournament odds. If it’s a final match between Rafa and Djokovic at RG - no matter what the starting odds in the tournament are - in this particular match Rafa is the fav. Just like in AO/W it would always be Novak being the fav against Rafa

I don't disagree with anything you said, and I would love to see him win a third here, I just personally am content with his career there even if he doesn't. It's Wimbledon and that record I would much rather have as a fan.
Would you love to see him win 1 last time ? 4th would be extremely tough.

He had 2015, 2016, 2023 with either no Nadal or a very poor version of Nadal.

2021, 2022 with a weaker/injured version of Nadal.

I count 5 openings there with 3 titles over Murray, injured Nadal and Ruud. Lost to Wawrinka in 2015. Nadal in 2022.

Federer OTOH had 2004 and 2009. Converted 2009 over Del Potro and soderling. , lost 2004 to an inspired Kuerten who is a clay ATG.

It would be an incredible thing to witness, but I cannot think of the title this far out, especially with him still struggling to find his form in Geneva.

But a 4th title...yeah, I would take it.
I am not sure as well. I am honestly fine with him reaching final here but winning Olympics gold. Let's see..
