When Nadal and Federer return in action, I mean all of Djokovic, Federer and Nadal are in action at the Grand Slams, they will still be winning all of the titles. They are just a lot better, even at grandpa age.

Federer and RAFA are getting so old, they will be out of the picture soon. and novak only has 3-4 years left and he's done too. then next gen guys can come in and take over , and i think Sasha will one day will break Federer's record of 20 majors

Actually Nadal has won 2 of the last 3 US Opens (and retired in the SF of 2018 USO), and Nadal won the last 3 French Opens, so Nadal will be dominating for the longest.
Whereas Djokovic was down 2-sets-to-1 in the AO Final this year, and had to saved match points in the Wimbledon final last year....
And now Thiem will probably rule Australia, now that he no longer has the monkey on his back.
Nadal and Thiem will dominate tennis for the next 3-5 years.
BTW, Nadal said he'd only retire if he could no longer compete for the biggest titles, and can you imagine him not competing for the US Open and French Open?
Heck, he's made the last 2 Wimbledon SFs too....
And recent comments suggest Nadal has opened the door to having children while he's on the tour, something he previously ruled out.

I find this constant praising between players on social media very weird (and somewhat lame). Glad that Roger and Rafa never (or barely) do it. I'm not saying that they should act like Kyrgios, I just feel like such posts are a bit too much sometimes. Oh well :)

I like Novak and I truly subscribe to some of his philosophies on life (Mindfulness etc etc; Not ***** :p). But he has been downright weird this year. Weird in a very destructive way. Now I can't help but think that Novak wants to play a larger role, wants to be the sole "beacon of change" for all of tennis. I would usually like and appreciate such gestures, but now I feel PTPA has something to do with even these small gestures.

I love the sentiment, but I wondered about that too.

Novak’s congratulatory note seems like he is trying too hard again. Just saying “Congrats on the win. Happy for you!” Is enough. To make a statement on sportsmanship? I don’t get Novak. I think he means well but he seems to utterly lack a basic sense of timing and taste when it comes to many of the things he does. I totally get that his background may be why he acts this way though.

I forgot that Novak is always going on about Mindfulness. That means he is always conscious of his actions meaning he knew exactly what he was doing when he hit the poor lineslady on the throato_O Wonder what she did to him previously…pour gluten powder into his drinks:eek:

Stop making me choke up.
Novak should have said ”Tennis fans, did you enjoy watching two chokers in the final instead of a Djoker? I thought not…1 Djoker is greater than 2 chokers or even 1 choker (looking at you, Swiss maestro)”. You know that’s what he‘s really thinking.
