Since 2023 start, nolefams were tracking what will be the earliest date when Djokovic can become the oldest number 1. Some of us thought it would be impossible with surging alcaraz in 2023 (lead in race post Wimbledon). But Djokovic's incredible second half which bagged him USOpen, 2 masters and ATP finals all but confirmed this would become the reality. At the age of 36 full.

Enjoy nolefams. This is one hell of an achievement. Even when Djokovic is fully focused on slams, he was able to set one more record for the ages.

amazing achievement. Won’t last very long as Sinner will eventually control it soon and not let go of it. But amazing achievement. Of course having bums like Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Zverev as your main rivals for a long time helps. Now it’s Sinner time though. Not nextworthlessgen bum time

But he’s going to be psychologically affected if Sinner and Alcaraz are #1 and #2 at Wimbledon
I don't think the goat gets psychologically affected. Carlos will have to prove himself to be number 2 seed. We will see.

If djokovic goes as number 2 seed instead of 1, it won't matter at all. He won RG and USO as number 2 seed just last year.

While sinner if he becomes number 1 seed, I don't know if he is able to handle pressure of being the favorite.

No, the record keeper says @4/2/24, he's still 4 days short of Federer's record. Well, he won't break Fed's #1 span.
