$100 was my price target to go after more of these. I just got the Hot Punch for $95 and the White Leather for $100. There is a sale ending soon on another one of the major Tennis retail sites. That is as low a price as I saw the scribble pair and now that the price is dropping these will start disappearing soon and who knows if we will get more colorways on the horizon. Even the AJ3 has now gone on sale

I hope we do get more, none of the rerelease colors really grabbed me.

What site was it? NDC has the pink for $98 right now. Tennis warehouse had it on sale for $100 for happy hour a few weeks ago.

I just got a pair of the new white leather Vapors, and I feel it’s the shoe they’ve been needing to make! I haven’t used them on the court yet, so cannot speak of the playability yet. Seems like the leather will give a bit more stability? Also, it kind of seems like a good mixture between the 9s and the 9.5s. I wish they would bring back a version of the 9s as well. This shoe reminds me a little bit as well like Nishikori’s custom 9.5s…

Hope Nike makes more of the leather 9.5s!
I thought the recent 9.5 is real leather not synthetic?
so did you end up going with your true size or half size up? How is the toebox width compared to the regular 9.5?

Collection complete. I haven't tried on the leathers yet to see how different they are. To me the AJ3s feel roomier in the toe box than the scribble pair but both are great to play in. My first impression is that the compound of gum soles do feel a bit softer but not by much. I sure hope they continue to release new colorways of these. I got back into tennis when the Vapor X came out so I missed playing in these the first time around. I have worn just about every Nike Tennis offering since 2019 and nothing even compares to these, hands down the best all around Tennis shoe in Nike's lineup.

Do the leather ones with the gum sole also feel narrower in the toebox compared to the scribble/honey ones? Are your own feet considered narrow, medium, or wide? Thank you.

Yes they do but only slightly. This is just my initial impression after trying them on. They are more snug but not to the point of being uncomfortable and I am hoping after some playtime the "leather" will give a bit. In comparison, the width of the scribble/honey ones are perfection for me. On the flip side the AJ3 version has a more roomy toe box.

My feet are on the high side of medium if that makes sense. The Vapor X, Vapor Pro and the 9.5 are spot on for width for me. GP Turbos are snug on me and I go half size up on those. Mac Attacks were also VERY tight. Jordan 1s fit fine on me width wise but AM90 and AM1s are narrow so I half size up there as well

Hope that is helpful

Ouch, got me
I'll have to live with having spent $6.80 more
The point I was trying to make is that wherever you look now, these are heavily discounted. Happy to see people scoring these at some really good prices. While I am not sure of the inventory levels I cant see these being around to much longer before they are all gone. Get 'em while you can because who knows if we will see any addition colorways.

I wasn't being sarcastic toward you.
Just funny when you find a great deal, theres a better one the next day
I got my two pairs today and am already thinking of ordering more for the reasons you said.
Plus they fit so naturally, for my feet anyway

Is the toebox of the leather ones narrower, same, or wider than the regular version? (I am assuming you ordered both in the same size) And also any noticeable differences in the hardness of the gum robber vs the blue rubber?

I wish I had bought more of the scribble color when they were out. I love this shoe, but I’ll be really bummed if the honey deuce is the last non-leather one we get. The white and blue leather looks great but runs a little warm most of the year where I play.

It feels slightly roomier to me, but that could be that the leather stretches a little more than the non-leather.

The leather ones maybe appear slightly wider, but i think it is an illusion due to the material. They probably would stretch a bit more, but not if your feet are actually wide.
The soles are pretty much the same. If it is real "gum" than maybe it is a little sifter than the dyed rubber but both claim to be XDR so should be the same.
Haven't played in either, but I'd expect the usual Nike durability (average)

Leather feels ever so slightly wider IMO

So after using the leather ones for a while now, did you guys notice any differences in durability between the gum (coloured?) outsole vs the standard rubber outsole (which is found on the non-leather 9.5s) or is it the same?

gum is always softer because of the process they use. Softer than my honey duece and IW colorways for sure

I have used both and the gum soles have been a little softer. I’m not a toe dragger so mostly affects near the heal. Not a big deal for me but it is noticeable.

Any other differences you notice between the 9.5 leathers and regular version?

The leathers stretch more eventually, but both are very comfortable. The regular ones are a little stiffer which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
This can be felt just walking around the house.
I have one pink punch and one OG white leather, debating on which to stock up on more, no conclusion yet.

The issue I’m most curious about is whether or not people are playing through the toe on the leather version. Seems like the toe would be much less durable than the mesh ones with the rubber toe guard

I have the same concern being a serious toe dragger.

It’s pretty much the same level of durability. The rubber toe guard is not much better

Hoping for more colors of the 9.5 Leather is running out of stock on NDC for size 9 and I don't want to triple up on the pink ones.

Zero issues with my toe on the leather version after 6 months of 2-3 times a week usage. I don't have reference vs non leather version tho FYI. For me the biggest issue is now the gum sole is pretty much gone on both sides up around my big toe. It's especially bad on my right side...Overall, my favorite tennis shoes by far! Love the leather
