Never heard of a rainbow string before... Can anyone post a picture of what it looks like when strung?
It is the Devil's string.Ok, anyone else find this a little creepy? I was looking for Christmas string deals, and I saw the Prince 'Buy 3, get 33% off' deal, so I clicked on it. I was greeted with this:
$9.99Buy 3 or more for $6.66 eachThis multi-colored string not only explodes with color, but it will enable you to take huge cuts at the ball. Offers a great combination of control, spin and durability.
Available: 36+
The string is named 'Diablo', which is Spanish for 'Devil', and is priced $6.66?!?! And to boot, it's normal price is $9.99, which, when rotated 180 degrees...is 66.6.
I'm not a religious person, but methinks TW needs to adjust their pricing up or down a few pennies...
ALL at the same time!!!Question. If even the same poly in different colours can play differently, what the hell does a rainbow poly play like?
Crisper like a red poly? Softer like a yellow? Terrible tension maintenance of black??
Can someone confirm Prince Diablo Prism, Diablo Duo and Diablo are the same string except in different colors? How do these compare to Prince Tour XR from stringing experience and how they play? I find XR very easy to string and slippery during the stringing process.
Understood. I only use it in the crosses because of it's slipperyness. Are there any strings I can buy by the reel that are similarly slippery and easy to install in the crosses?I just strung up XR for a buddy who asked me to put it in his Prince Synergy 98. I too found it a very slippery string that was easy to install.
That said my pal said he didn't really care much for it in that racquet.
