"Rublev was a participant in the Adria Tour and tested positive for Covid-19. But on Monday he confirmed he was cleared to play in the tournament after completing his self-quarantine period and testing negative for Covid-19 three times."

this would be basically the equivalent of Djoko playing Thiem seven. they were both to play in the final of the Croatia Adria tour event. Rublev now negative

Coronavirus cases have been reported at three meat-processing facilities in Austria, two of which are near the German border.

In total, 12 employees have tested positive for COVID-19, the crisis team of the federal state of Upper Austria confirmed to the APA news agency. Austrian media have also reported on the infections.

At a slaughterhouse in the district of Ried im Innkreis, near the border with Germany, there have been seven confirmed cases, while in the district of Braunau there were two. An additional three have been reported in Wels-Land, about 50 kilometers (31 miles) southeast of Ried.

More tests were being carried out on other employees and these figures may rise.

The meat industry has become synonymous with the coronavirus in recent weeks after Tönnies in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, had more than 1,500 employees test positive.

A lot of criticism has been aimed at the slaughterhouse firm as a result, particularly over poor working environments for employees, as well as bad conditions for the animals.

Austria to investigate clubs for breaching testing rules

VIENNA (AP) — The Austrian soccer league has started an investigation into the coronavirus testing procedures of all 16 second-division teams after three players from one club tested positive over the weekend.

Each club must provide receipts and test results to prove that all players have been tested on a weekly basis since play resumed on June 5 after a 12-week break, the league told the Austria Press Agency on Tuesday.

The investigation comes after last-place Kapfenberger SV apparently breached the anti-coronavirus rules by failing to structurally test its players.

The league opened proceedings against Kapfenberg on Monday.

While Kapfenberg initially denied any wrongdoing, club president Erwin Fuchs later acknowledged that the team doctor had probably overlooked a few players during testing last week.

Fuchs called it “a human mistake” in an interview with Austrian TV station ORF.

After one player was found positive on Friday, Kapfenberg’s league match that day against Wacker Innsbruck was rescheduled for Tuesday and the team went into quarantine in a sports academy near the stadium.

All players underwent another test, with results the next day coming back positive for two more players.

Kapfenberg’s game against Wacker has been postponed once more, until next week, but the club said it expected to play again in an away game at 14th-ranked GAK in Gleisdorf on Saturday.

Four rounds are remaining this season in the second division, from which no teams will be relegated.

Rublev never tested positive. The 14-day quarantine and successive negative tests were a stipulation to play in the Thiem tournament, not a consequence of having tested positive.

EDIT: I should provide a source. Here's a tweet from Rublev posted right after the Adria Tour event:

I literally quoted from an article on the Thiem seven results. Perhaps Austrian journalism isn't the best

It is bold to be playing team sports. Take down a whole team and then you've got a mess on your hands. Tennis can survive a walk over match in a draw here and there. At least the Austrians aren't Serbians.
