Rafa has not reached a Wimbledon final in 10 years.
Federer has 2 titles + 3 finals the last 10 years and had 2 championship points last year.

Wimbledon is definitely a bigger lost opportunity for Federer than Nadal. It's worst for Novak, of course.

That's a weird way to look at it.

Federer was already due for a big rest ahead of the grass. This would have been one of his last big chances to win a slam (2nd favourite only narrowly behind Djokovic). To remove this slam, it's cost him an opportunity. Djokovic too. Nadal not so much (no title since 2010).

If only Wimbledon goes this year, Federer probably lost out the most.

If the French and US both go, probably Djoko loses out slightly on the whole with Nadal and Federer both having lost their favourite slam each just behind.

Well, Novak won last two editions of Wimbledon, and he is not narrowly favorite against Federer as you said, he is huge favorite.. . He won 3 finals in a row against Federer, last year he played as poor as he might, and Federer played as good as he can, and still Novak won. That won't repeat... And, don't forget Federer was automatically for injury....

Rafole won last 8 slams and saying they are not biggest losers of this situation is crazy, but yet Fed fans have guts to say otherwise...

No korona and Fed would lost both his most important records this year, with korona he will keep it...

Not sure why the article in the OP assumes the USO and FO will definitely still be played this year.

If, let's say, the FO is played, and Nadal wins No 20 there, then Federer will in fact have lost out, since Rafa and Djoker will both have had their pet slams played this year, while Federer will not have had his favourite slam (Wimbledon) played.

But of course there are much more important things to worry about at present than the slam count.

Weird to see such a casual mistake coming from a former pro. Nadal and Federer are 5 years apart, there is no way you can put them in the same age group. And what are the 2 possible Slams for Federer? One is Wimbledon, but if I remember correctly, he didn’t win Roland Garros since 2009 and US Open since 2008.

I agree regarding Djokovic. His body may well thank him for this break when all is said and done. Only time will tell.

Hurts Serena the most. Her main motivation is slams and taking those opportunties away can be deflating.
Then Djoker. If the world were normal he would have probably picked up #18 and a good chance for #19. Now he has to catch up next year. There is a chance he might only make 20-22 slams if the younger guys start picking up their games.
Then Fed. Takes away some chances, but he's in the stage where he needs to be set up for a good run, and rest especially after surgery might only benefit him. Seems his team really knows how to periodize his training for the big moments.
Nadal the least if RG goes. Could a fresh Djoker challenge Nadal if the US Open is cancelled? If that place turns into a hospital, will they have time to shut it down for it to run in September?

Yes l picked up on that, also that Roddick spoke about how much the US Open meant to him with no mention that Austin won the title TWICE.
That said, at least Roddick referred to one of Austin's wins.

Federer played a good match but was poor in the big points throughtout and Djokovic was super-clutch throughout. To say it was weak Djokovic is ridiculous. It certainly wasn't anywhere near Federer's best and he still looked the better player for the most part.

Not a one-off either. Every one of their 4 matches at Wimbledon has been super tight.
