Softest black poly strings 1.30

Hi,
In the TWU, ones of the softest black poly strings 1.30 on the market are Polyfibre Black Venom and Polystar Energy. And also Gosen Sidewinder or Ytex Quadro Twist but impossible to find it in France.....
So, did you guys could give me feedback about the Energy and/or Black Venom?
I'm searching really great confort first, then spin and control.
I know these two strings lost tension really quickly but maybe I just need to string it two more kg than my usual tension?...
Thank you! :)

I haven't played with either but Sonic Pro 16 (black) has been my goto strings for a year. TWU lists its stiffness at 160 whereas the energy is at 173.2 & black venom at 180. It is much softer than both the strings you listed. Spin potential wise black venom is at 4.3 & sonic pro is at 4.2. I would say give Sonic Pro a shot if you haven't already. It is meant for Control + Comfort.

Thank you, I see the Sonic Pro but I think it will be really too soft... And too powerful. I play with Pure Aero Team and I don't want too much power with the string...
But maybe I will try it one day! ;)
For the moment I want feedback about the Polystar Energy 1.30 and Polyfibre Black Venom 1.30. Thank you! :)

I second the sonic pro. If it's too soft then work back the other way or even think about prestreching it to take some of the life out of it.

I have played with energy. Great playing string that’s really comfortable and powerful. Drops tension quite quick but it’s so cheap that it’s not a problem. I’m not using it anymore but I have one last set that I plan on using someday. :)

A string that's been compared to Sonic Pro and will save you serious $$ is Isospeed Baseline Speed, Spin, etc. The different names only designate the different gauges. The drawback is that they only sell it in 660' reels at $39.99. But what a cheap price!

You're going to think I'm crazy, and it's dark gray, not black, but prince warrior response is smooth, soft, offers great control, and it's affordable. It's unique construction is a solid core like a syn-gut, but then wrapped like a poly instead of multifibers like a syn-gut. Like I said, it's unique, like a dual-layer poly. Hard to believe, but this is like a hybrid built into the string. There's nothing else like it out there. Only comes in 16g, I guess because of the inner core construction, but the feel is like no other.

Used black venom a tonne over the last few years.
The string is super comfortable and has great spin potential from the get go, it doesn't really take long to "bed in" , and has a performance that lasts just as long as other main branded strings.
In terms of comparing to other strings I would say it is a softer more comfortable version of RPM blast. I usually opt for black venom or cyclone depending on the racket and any injuries I have etc.
Highly recommend this string , especially given the price point compared to other strings.

I have a set of Black Venom 1.30 to try... :)
I will also try multi like Prince Premier Control 1.35 or 1.40. But I'm afraid about longevity and spin potential...
But I like the idea that I can play from the first shot to the last with the same tension and feeling... Only multi can offer this. And so much comfort...

Black venom is that soft its almost like playing with a multi. I normally snap a lot of polys too , and get good game time out of BV.
I can get a reel for £80 ish (im in u.k) so its a no brainer compared to the double priced other brands

Genesis Black Magic 1.30 is soft, comfy and has a good price!

Too firm the Poly Tour Pro...

If you're looking for "comfort first", why are you even looking at poly?

I think the stiffness numbers for YPTP don't reflect it at all. Its one of the most comfortable polys I've played with, particularly in the 1.20 gauge.

Seems like you're getting close to the 'no poly' threshold lol; as has been noted previously, black versions of strings often play a bit stiffer. Softest polys I've found colour notwithstanding are Yonex Poly Tour Air and Cyclone Tour - yet to try Cream, mainly due to availability issues, especially with regard to the 1.23 gauge. Might have to change colour for the sake of arm health.

I finally found the Vorso! Will try it tomorrow! :)
Isospeed Baseline is good too?
Ispspeed Baseline is the comfiest poly out there anf best value for money too.
Basically the same things as Head Sonic Pro, at fraction of the price...
