envy envy envy. just having salad. my highlight is some chickpea mix. I think even Buddhist monks on strict veggie diets would feel sorry for me.
Only do it if you are going get $30 in coffee. I always fill in 1/4 of the cup with milk when going to Starbucks to off set the dark taste. I guess I get my $$$ worth.
yeah, i have been warned not to look into the sun multiple times with my thick glasses. I blamed it on endless hours of studying. Or endless hours of screen time. =)

I still have some Hex left in black & a lil white too. Very good spin and control. In certain frames, they can feel really nice especially since they're cheap hold tension OK too. Some frames, they feel a lil "plasticky"... They felt pretty good in some old i.Rads I had... Let me know if you want some...1.18mm

mikeler -- the exo3 tours do seem to make drop volleys easier. the mushiness / flex makes soaking up just enough pace easier. since my switch to donnays, i haven't quite dialed in drop volleys.

i played dubs against BNT (bolivian neck tie) with downs. he would tell downs he's going to blast a flat serve down the T. downs would be ready and blink. Ace.
and with me BNT liked to toy with me and hit drop shots at angles that defied natural laws of science and human decency. my favorites were the drop shots with me about 2 feet away from the net and he angles them in the corner by the alley. Winner.
i think the best part is BNT is prolly carrying an extra ullyses s. grant in lbs but he's pretty solid player.

true story - he actually called one of his serves out for his opponents, so he could be nice and hit them a soft second serve...they told him, it's their call and they wanted the point...he gets pissed, then serves 3 straight 120+ mph aces to close the game...
...this was for 7.5 mixed too...like the honey badger, he does not care...

another good story -- then i'll stop -- back in the day when he was in his tennis prime -- he got a letter with an invitation into the US Open qualifying...his (now ex) wife hid the letter from him and he didn't find out years later...he cried...

is this the same guy that plays at Fairfax Racquet Club that use to play nationals for another country? If so, I have of heard of this person from 3 other sources other than here.

We played some 'fun' dubs after our last match. I asked for a 'third' serve. I still didn't touch it. He had fun toying with us.
He just loves to play, so he doesn't care if it is with a 3.0 or with Downs. I think he likes the challenge with the 3.0 (though, two of ours are now 3.5s)
Sunday he played 18 holes of golf, 8.5, then 7.5. His 8.5 clinched a districts spot, and he was giddy as a school girl about it. Nice to see someone so good get excited about beating up on us scrubs.
It is rumored that he played Davis Cup.

Sounds good. Mondays are bad for me, but should be able to make any other day work. BTW, I usually get out of work @ 2ish, and I work in Reston.
The nickname came from a guy on our 4.5 team who's known Gary for years & years. Just something he threw out there & it stuck. Don't know about playing nationals, but he has some of the best drop shots & lobs around. Like I said, he can blast a forehand @ 100MPH, then hit a killer drop shot. This is why he gives me fits.
