A friend of mine claims that Head stopped stenciling the pro stocks when they introduced the YouTek line . According to him , they only put sticker to indicate pro stock. Is that true? If so, what are the bar codes for the various models like Prestige MP, Prestige pro MP, Radical MP and Radical pro MP?

They removed the code in the throat for 2011 and now there's just a sticker with the player code. It starts with an A or B and then a number. You'd have to get down to the hairpin to find out what it really is.

I've seen you around on the strings forums for a while so I would have guessed that you already know this.

Thanks , likewise , we are a group out here into pro stock and rarities :)
I was under the same impression so good to hear you are under the same understanding. My TGK 260.1 has the sticker with the B but my friend was not convinced due to the past useage of PT57a and TGK 238.1's i think.
Anyhow its settled now.

Someone said A is the stiffest and D the softest layup. Not sure what E is though...

"E" is stiff, a la iPrestige molds - PT57E

I had a few PT10B frames that were quite noodly. I know that's not a word...
More so than any PT57A's I've used.

We are mere mortals. We are not meant to understand.

That is not it.
PT57E has nothing to do with the PT57A...layup-wise...

He was asking about the little sticker inside the throat that is Axxxxx or Bxxxxx or Cxxxxx or Dxxxxx or...

There's a lot of misinformation around. I personally know a Head racquet sales rep who swears to me that Djokovic is not using a Radical mold. So, you know, who really knows anyway? All we have are pictures.

I have a TGK238.4 (YT Prestige MP) with the stencil and several without it.

Actually, you can see it in my avatar.

He can swear all day long, shows how clueless he is or how big of a liar he is. I have had Novak's racket in hands and taken it apart and it is clearly PT113B1 (under the pallets). H09 = China, country of manufacture. PT113A = iRadical MP mold.
