Instead of giving them away to pros for free, they could sell them to us :).
part of the reason for the desirability is their rarity... i honestly dont think people would spend $230 if this raquet were widely available... just imo

I never bought a thing from RC, but I know people that did.

His expertise in that area is well beyond yours, mine and many others here...

Whether you bought these directly from him or not, the fact is he should put his stuff in the FS/FT forum and stay there, instead of posting FS in the pro forum (which then got deleted by the mods), or email spams under the table.

And just because he knows more about the Pro stocks does not put him in the position to call VSB out. The fact is several people here reported Roman Prokes said the same thing as vsb said.

I have bought sticks from RC and he is a nice guy. Has access to some wild frames and I have nothing but good things to say about the guy. But the problem is none of us can be ABSOLUTELY sure of anything posted on this site, but most on here seem nice enough and usually qualify their statements as opinions or their own observations on playtests, etc.

So dr325i I see you finally made the jump to the A frames, how you liking those?

They work for me well -- easily customizable, great feedback and my shoulder issues are gone. I guess the soft touch of the 57A helps...

I just put the TK82S pallets on it, and those are great -- feels like Wilson handle, I can finally hit the SW FH again :)

Are you jelaous or you're brownnosing to the Mods??? Either one will get you NOWHERE on the Internet boards...

It may have sounded that way, but I doubt he would call VSB out as he's a nice guy.

If you're not interested in his RARE offerings, tell him, and he will not "spam" you -- I, and many others certainly love hearing about his exotic rackets...

Finally, my dealer told me that my car is 100% made in Germany, and that it is the best in the world. Then I found out that the engine is actually put together in Hungary... RP is there to sell you the stuff and make (big) $$$ off you. If Made in Austria (hard to verify) will sell it faster and for more $$$, let it be Austrian...

I have talked to Roman's assistants too, and they mentioned that the TGKs are made in China. I would be surprised if one batch was from Austria, the other from China...but am not saying it is not possible...

It's Wednesday- Some of you guys should've received your racquets by now. Let's hear the results.

Also, a lot of the stuff ont his board is PURE spculation, so I am not quite sure who really contributed to the stuff (including myself)...

I agree, much of what is written is speculation, however, that is why certain posters have a following, based on years and thousands of posts contributed, from which, one could make an informed decision as to whether they are talking doo-doo, or are on the level.

vsBabolat is one of the most knowledgable and giving posters on the board. He is selfless with his knowledge, and readily shares what he knows.

For these two to go off on him, shows what they are about, and how little they know, including stating, "China models" are as good quality as others.

BTW, they were OWNED when I brought up the fact that the PS85 made in China, sucks, compared to even the Taiwan model, and not even bringing into account the Chicago/St. Vincent.

And I will say it again, Roman Prokes of **** confirmed with me these frames were MANUFACTURED in Austria.

Like I said before, I'll take Roman's and vsBabolat's word over these two.

Yes, RacquetCraft is a great contributor to this board IMO.

Disagree. What has he/she "contributed" that could hope to come close to all the contributionso of, vsBabolat???

If these are in fact 237.2s, anyone know the string pattern for them? and is there a chance to get replacement grommets for these sticks?

Again, VSB did agree with me that the TGK sticks are NOT made in Austria. I wish he would chime in to confirm or deny...

Also, RP said one thing, his workers said another. I personally know the guy in his shop and he confirmed they are NOT Made in Austria.

And to your last comment -- I never said that RC contributed more or less or close to VSB. I have read some of his threads and those were VERY informative and unique. Same for VSB, so...

In the end, a huge difference between the TGK and PT57x feel... Does not really matter where they are made...

Thanks for the pics.

So 89.5 sq in with 16x19, 8pts HL, 19mm beam width, 62 flex & 332 Swingweight. Sounds pretty good to me. Let us know how the control/power/serve is vs K90.

i don't have a lot of experience with the k90...i'll try to compare it to my TGK237.1, PC600 and Babolat Pure Storm Ltd GT racquets i have lying around...

Yes, especially to Babolat Pure Storm Ltd GT.
The more I playtest rare classic Prestiges, the more I'm inclined to settle with widely available and very soft and friendly PSL GT.

I couldn't agree with you more -- normally I'll test a new racquet and go back to my trusty prestige classic and it feels great...however, it was different with the PSL GT -- when i went back, it just didn't feel as good!

could you give more comments on the PSL GT comapred to the PC600? I'm surprised that you say the PC600 doesn't feel as good as the PSL. I played for a longtime with the PC600, and I also played the PSL (not GT), and although I like the feel of the PSL (w/ extra weight), I find it a bit too stiff. Are the GT models flexier than the earlier, non GT ones?

are you sure that you tie off the start knot for your cross thru the correct hole? My TKG 237.2 has been strung from a leading customizer here in Europe and they tied off in hole H32.
