This is the oldest semifinal at grand slam since 76. Fed is 35, Wawrinka 31, Rafa 30, Dimitrov 25. Mean age of this four players is just above 30 years of age for the first time in the Open Era history. As far as I know it is also the only time in history when 3 out of 4 players in SF are older than 30.

This is really not good for young and middle generation. However it is really cool for the old one

Evert and Navratilova played a Wimbledon semi in 88 but they weren't this old.
Although they may the oldest pairing to play two major semis in 88 - AO and Wimbledon.

As far as I know, ATP is record old (something like top 50 -100 I don't remember).
